What little bit of luxury do you have for every day?

I’d love to hear.

I love my cashmere snood/scarf. I’m a teacher and have to teach with the windows open at the moment so it keeps me warm and feels amazing. 💗

What do others have that is a little bit of luxury for every day?

The ability to use DPs credit cards whenever I fancy 🤣

Ellapaella · 13/12/2020 17:39

Molton Brown ylang ylang bath oil or badedas bath foam - pure heaven.
Falke slipper socks - so warm and cosy, expensive but definitely worth it.
Today I'm lounging around in my Toast jumper which just the nicest, cosiest jumper I own and certainly a luxury item for me.
A bit of yoga and an hour to myself to play the piano - I'm happy.

Ellapaella · 13/12/2020 17:39

Oh and a beautiful Christmas spice scented candle - perfect.

MyNameForToday1980 · 13/12/2020 18:00

Cire Trudon candles (particularly Ernesto).

For those with cashmere snoods, where did you get them? I'd love a garter stitch cashmere snoods...

fussychica · 13/12/2020 18:00

Wear perfume and jewellery every day
Good food anď wine
Decent gin - currently alternating between Silent Pool, No 3 and Martin Millers.
White bedding. Bought a fabulous Portugese set recently. Not cheap but so soft.
F&M Countess Grey tea in the afternoon.
Coffee with frothed milk made using the Lavazza frother, like going out for coffee but cheaper and safer!

fussychica · 13/12/2020 18:01

The gin and wine are not every day just weekends, I hasten to add.

Molton Brown Shower gel daily in my shower.

WhereToMissToTheStars · 13/12/2020 18:16

I love my Brora one but it was very expensive.

I also have this one which I double over. It’s perfect. www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-partners-cashmere-snood/toast/p5087329

Jo malone shower gel

Violetroselily · 13/12/2020 18:56

Molton brown shower gel, particularly rose and rhubarb

LovingCountryLife · 13/12/2020 19:01

@Jessicabrassica

A 40 minute commute with great views where nobody asks me to do anything.
I'm with you. WFH currently and I miss my train commute to London, I always get a seat, and everyone reads so it's nice and quiet. I can read a book or catch up on a series or sometimes work! It's 'my' time Smile
Holothane · 13/12/2020 19:02

Molton brown shower gel brought a Christmas bauble one I’m getting a pump one for new year.

LovingCountryLife · 13/12/2020 19:07

@Sparklingbrook

Can anyone recommend any of the other 'flavours' of Molton Brown anything? I have stuck with Black Peppercorn for years now as I love it so much. Maybe it's time for a change?
Gingerlily. Beautiful Smile
KeyboardWorriers · 13/12/2020 19:25

When the children were tiny and I was still with my arse of an ex I realised the only bit of "me time" I got each day was my shower, so I started treating myself to really decent shower gels and oils. This is a daily treat I have stuck with ever since.

But in reality the one "luxury" I would never want to give up is my heated throw from Lakeland.

Spied · 13/12/2020 19:25

Getting out the bath and opening my drawer of body creams and deciding which one I feel like using tonight.
I have a wide range.
Tonight I'm wearing Scottish Fine Soaps Co. 'Au Lait'.
Last night was CK Euphoria from a perfume gift set last Xmas.Smile

Lordamighty · 13/12/2020 19:30

Molton Brown shower gel is my luxury item.

LovingCountryLife · 13/12/2020 19:32

My handmade four poster emperor bed with high count thread bed linen from the White Company, super king size pillows and mountain goose filled duvet. A good night's sleep is priceless!

Tom Ford Private Blend Tuscan Leather perfume - WFH but worn everyday

Sisley Eau du Soir shower gel

Diptyque Baies candles

Face cream by Augustinus Bader

WFH so lots of really comfortable but stylish cashmere loungewear from hush and JL makes me feel ready for the day, I just put on a smarter top for Zoom calls!

My engagement ring Smile

MyNameForToday1980 · 13/12/2020 19:35

@goingdooolally thank you! I was just eying that exact JL one (in toast). Really I would love one like my DD's which is from Olivier London, annoyingly it's for 3-5 year olds, so getting it over my massive bonce is tricky (though not impossible).

BlueSpruce · 13/12/2020 19:41

It’s definitely perfume for me, too. I have a big collection and choosing what I’m going to wear each day brings me real joy.

I even made myself an advent calendar this year, using perfume samples I’ve collected. So much fun! Wearing Chanel Gardenia as we speak and smiling to myself Grin.

OddestSock · 13/12/2020 19:43

Not an expensive one in the grand scheme of things, but a monthly subscription of teapigs tea leaves

ttigerlilly · 13/12/2020 19:56

Brazened Honey face mask from Lush
Pukka turmeric gold tea
Taylor's Lazy Sunday coffee
Gucci Bloom perfume
Long hot bath to read my book
Relaxing to Spotify

London91 · 13/12/2020 20:03

Perfume and expensive make-up for me.
I love my YSL Black Opium, makes me feel ready to take on the day.

Funatish · 13/12/2020 20:06

A skincare routine using Beautypie products, not overly expensive but feel very luxurious

Filter coffee every morning before work

My car. Its my dream car, I got it earlier this year and still get a thrill everytime I see it

Frieswithanythin · 13/12/2020 20:07

birdseedpie

Some of the Morrison's version of Radox foam bath in my bath before bed.

Iv tried these and they are lovely. The smells are gorgeous. During the first lockdown I couldn’t get them, had to wait months till they got them in again
