What little bit of luxury do you have for every day?

I’d love to hear.

I love my cashmere snood/scarf. I’m a teacher and have to teach with the windows open at the moment so it keeps me warm and feels amazing. 💗

What do others have that is a little bit of luxury for every day?

A decent coffee every morning.
A square or two of Tesco Finest 74% dark chocolate in the evening (recommend this- as good as many of the posh brands I've tried)

Jagsy · 13/12/2020 14:38

@Sparklingbrook I love Molten Brown shower gel as my daily luxury. my favourite is Templetree, which I imagine what a holiday to Barbados would feel/smell like 😆 Never been but one can hope!

dementedma · 13/12/2020 14:46

Writing with a vintage fountain pen, decent coffee, burning frankincense resin in my burner( a friend sends it from the middle East), good quality bed linen, gin

Jellycatspyjamas · 13/12/2020 14:50

@Sparklingbrook if you like black peppercorn there’s a pink peppercorn one that’s much less aftershave like - it’s really lovely, as is the orange and bergamot one.

Goingdooolally · 13/12/2020 14:52

I’ve just bought a little tea light oil burner. Any oil recommendations? Nothing sweet. I prefer more forest, smokey , cosy smells.

Some of the Morrison's version of Radox foam bath in my bath before bed.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/12/2020 15:07

I like using eucalyptus oil in my tea light burner, but I know some people dislike the smell.

Everyday luxuries here:
Earl Grey tea in a Denby mug

cashmere snood and wrist warmers

sheepskin slippers (mine are John Lewis but think I will treat myself to some Uggs when these need replacing)

nice soap bars - just got some Bronnley ones, although haven't tried them yet. I usually get Nesti Dante, but don't really like the huge bars

Mac lipsticks

Yes to Estee Lauder foundation

Himalayan salt lamps - feel so lovely and cosy and welcoming

MonkeyPuddle · 13/12/2020 15:07

Homemade pulse point essential oil roller balls. I have different ones for different times of the day, how I feel, takes two seconds to apply and always makes me feel better.

BarryWhiteIsMyBrother · 13/12/2020 15:09

Jewellery and perfume every day, without fail.

myhobbyisouting · 13/12/2020 15:13

Bathhouse handwash and cream in frangipani and grapefruit

I really don't understand the Molton Brown love. The black pepper one is particularly pungent, not a nice scent at all Blush

ssd · 13/12/2020 15:22

@Sparklingbrook , I've just seen on the jl website they have a set of about 3 mini shower gels of all flavours, 40 quid...seems like to good way to try new ones with out buying the larger bottles?

ssd · 13/12/2020 15:27

Sorry meant 10 travel sized shower gels for £40

peaceanddove · 13/12/2020 15:28

Perfume every day. In Winter, I wear Clinique Aromatics Elixir.

White Company candles. Right now I'm burning the Winter one, it smells incredible.

Twinnings Lady Grey tea just before bedtime.

Professional pedicure every 4 weeks, so my feet always look soft & pretty.

Mulberry silk pillowcases and a goose down duvet that feels like you're sleeping under a cloud.

Cashmere sweaters.

Beautifully bound, hardback books.

Chanel lipsticks.

I'm very good at pampering myself ❤️

ssd · 13/12/2020 15:29

@myhobbyisouting. If you like Frangipani, have you tried elemis frangipani, its gorgeous.

myhobbyisouting · 13/12/2020 15:35

@ssd I'm in the bath right now with Elemis frangipani oil 😂🙈 I love it!

Also burning a fake JM candle from Aldi. Not recommended and will be rehomed shortly!

smismas · 13/12/2020 15:41

Nice hand soap. Nothing particularly posh in the grand scheme of things- method or Baylis and Harding- but to me they're 'luxury' and I only buy them when they're on offer. After using cheap supermarket budget soap countless times a day at work my hands really need a decent soap!

Also this year we have an Alexa plug socket so we can ask her to switch the Christmas tree lights on rather than crawl under the tree!

myhobbyisouting · 13/12/2020 15:42

Actually, as I'm in the bath...can someone recommend me something comfortable for under my head please?

Zenandben · 13/12/2020 16:04

Love reading all these. Some good ideas. I wear my Chanel perfume every day, even sitting in the house.
Most of my money is spent on house things.
I’ve got my eye on a new bag I really want and would use. It’s £100 which seems very extravagant to me and I’ve got birthday money sitting but I just can’t bring myself to get it. Will probably end up spending it on something household related

Thanks that's a great idea, then I can choose a new favourite. I'll tell DS2 as he'd been pestering me for ideas for Christmas.
ihatethecold · 13/12/2020 16:18

My neom diffuser and oils. I absolutely love having it on for an hour before I sleep.
It has a gentle light that can be on also.
It relaxes me and life has been so stressful recently.

PontiacBandit · 13/12/2020 16:18

Super comfortable bed and high thread sheets.
A glorious cup of freshly ground coffee and full fat milk every morning.
I do a weekly spa facial, manicure and pedicure at home which is completely indulgent. Soak in a hot bath with oils and body scrub and face mask listening to relaxing spa music is heavenly, it is often ruined by inquisitive DD who wants to chat or go to the loo but relaxing nonetheless.

paxman · 13/12/2020 16:19

Really nice toilet tissue.

Henlie · 13/12/2020 16:28

Another one here for ‘Bean to Cup’ coffee machine. Have two cups a day without fail. Coffee beans are on the expensive side but so worth it! It does set a bit of a bench mark for coffee though. And can be a bit disappointing when havIng coffee at other people’s houses/cafes. Really don’t like the pod/capsule coffee machines 😐.

IceCreamAndCandyfloss · 13/12/2020 16:49

My oil diffuser and good choice of oils. Lights the room beautifully on dark nights and no tea lights so I can leave running safely.

Nice bath products, big fluffy towels and a warm house. Spent too many years in a cold house and baths were always tepid so I absolutely love a long really hot bath with nice smells, bubbles and a huge towel to get out too.

user1471538283 · 13/12/2020 17:10

I've always worn perfume every day and burnt lovely candles. I've got hotel quality bed linen and expensive make up.
