The happy place cafe 2 - advent opening

Thanks to a couple of really nice PMs the cafe is reopening until and including Xmas.

For the regulars

The kitten bees are inside for winter, please watch out for them getting stuck in jam.

F and F seem to be slightly more than friends.

The water feature has become an ice rink.

To anyone new:

This virtual cafe is a covid free zone. There are a number of seats / sofas / wing back chairs.

It opened in the first lockdown, it is an escape from isolating, home ed, mask wearing. It is a happy place, it is the opposite of AIBU.

A different breakfast is served every day and sometime packing up to take to work.

Florence is a French pastry chef, Fernando is a cocktail waiter.

Dogs and children are welcome. Babies can be handed over to regulars to give you a break and we also have cots for them to sleep.

Outside is a cat amusement area with catnip bush and toys.

Kitten bees are kittens the size of bees with wings and their tails can transform into tiny umbrellas.

Morning all.

Well it looks like I'm having a nice early start so I have Florence baking bread and pastries in the kitchen and Fernando has some amazing fruit and herb teas to try.

We’re supposed to be going away for the first time in ages this weekend but DS has a fever. Fingers very much crossed for his test result. I’m just fed up of not being able to look forward to anything properly.

@crazycatlady7 sorry the one thing I do not control is the weather but there are large umbrellas with patio heaters and some electric blankets.

I think we'll stick to pastries and teas this morning, Fernando might want you to taste his latest cocktails later, he's experimenting with warm cocktails.

Just a bit fed up of the wet weather now.

I'm mending thanks @Mogloveseggs I had a fall about a week ago, I posted the cut I somehow acquired on sporner corner and was told it was above their paygrade but it's mending nicely.

The bruises on my legs are fading so all is mending.

Hot muffins mmmm....

Today the coffee van comes so I'm looking forward to tea and cake. Our swimming class has been cancelled today. Just seems a bad week. Hoping our Sunday class goes ahead still.

Today I'm making beans on toast, you can have cheese and/or bacon with it and extra toast.

The usual array of hot drinks is available and the patio heaters are on.
