Crack on, as you were, need a lie down and a bit of cosseting after the non stop thrill ride of the last thread. Just take it slow, ok?

Yesterday I wore some trainers that I haven’t worn since last winter and they gave me a blister on the back of my heel.

My spider plant is flowering. I’ve never seen a spider plant in bloom before!

Tomorrow I’m going to reorganise some of the kitchen cupboards as I’m not happy with how they’re set up.

Nandakanda · 08/09/2020 20:05

The spot on my arse has gone.

I meant to thank all the people on thread one who so kindly offered their advice about getting it looked at, but typically, l was too lazy.

That saved me an embarrassing trip to the doctors with the added bonus that I don't have to think about it any more.

Thank you and farewell.

I thought I had to iron some uniform, but it turned out I'd ironed a set already.

flipperdoda · 08/09/2020 20:17

I've just deep-ish cleaned the kitchen. I now feel simultaneously proud and slightly disgusted with myself.

Gingerkittykat · 08/09/2020 20:18

My uterus hurts.

There was a big spider in my living room earlier.

Cocolapew · 08/09/2020 20:18

I haven't eaten chocolate since Friday and now have a sore head and both a stuffy and runny nose.

FawnDrench · 08/09/2020 20:19

I didn't sort out my cardigans as I'd vaguely "planned" to do today, because the weather was too warm and sunny to be handling wool and stuff like that - well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

I've decided that I really like the word "insufficient".

The cashier in Tesco's asked me if I'd like to round up the payment for my shopping to the next pound "for our charities" and I replied "no thank you".

LynnThese4reSEXPEOPLE · 08/09/2020 20:21

Oh - and I took my nail varnish off because I can't wear it at work.

Nomnomarrgh · 08/09/2020 20:36

A policeman helped me to find my mobile today.

No sign of the gum-toting ones the papers say Brum is full of.

Sunbird24 · 08/09/2020 20:47

I think one of my gloxinias is preparing to hibernate. Neither of them flowered this year, although the bits we separated off for my mum did! I’ve had it nearly 30 years so I think it’s just sick of me now...

Sunbird24 · 08/09/2020 20:48

@Nomnomarrgh I like the sound of gum-toting policemen!

Autumnchill · 08/09/2020 20:53

I got the Tuna Dreamies today as a change from the Cheese ones

WouldBeGood · 08/09/2020 20:56

I’ve tested my new pink tulip solar light and it works.

Taswama · 08/09/2020 21:09

I returned some books to the library that were due back at the end of August. Luckily they are kids books borrowed on a child's card, so no fine.

@Spudlet - I have resorted to cutting name labels in half before and putting first name in one item of clothing and surname in another. Depends on how common each name is, this may help.

Roystonv · 08/09/2020 21:26

Had to wait in all day for two deliveries from 6.52 am to 8 pm. Painted a window sill and got cabin fever.

AnneBoleynsHead · 08/09/2020 21:47

Went to Shrewsbury today. Got muddled looking for Primark as DH had the map upside down Hmm

SpeedofaSloth · 08/09/2020 22:05

I have done tomorrow's packed lunches, but not DS' school shirt which needs ironing.

BillywigSting · 09/09/2020 07:45

The weather forecast says it's going to rain later but it looks quite nice out atm, so I don't know what to wear. I had a dress and tights on yesterday because it was quite cool in the morning but by one o'clock I was boiling.

Or the first resort of the lazy and inefficient: sharpie pen.
TwoShades1 · 09/09/2020 07:59

My last attempt here was clearly too exciting as another poster went and ordered bed linen after hearing about me browsing linen online. Today I damaged my permanent retainer on my teeth and I have an appointment to get it fixed tomorrow morning.

Lazysundayafternoons · 09/09/2020 08:03

Sent ds back to school today, we have his cough (asthma related) 95% under control.
Had to keep him off as it was a 'new cough'
I'm hoping he makes it through the day, he should be ok but I'm still a bit nervous

Ninkanink · 09/09/2020 09:06

I’ve decided to become a morning person. So today I was up and showered before DH was even awake.

I unpacked a coffee set that I bought on eBay which arrived this morning, and also some pretty serving dishes (Wedgwood strawberry).

Today I will tackle some more of the skirting in the hallway.

MmeCamenbert · 09/09/2020 09:51

I've just finished my 4th cup of tea so far this morning and I have 2 medical appointments booked in for tomorrow. I've also given up wine during the week, life is exhilarating.

Helocariad · 09/09/2020 10:11

Ok @MmeCamenbert your post persuaded me to get off my backside and put the kettle on.
I booked my MOT this morning.

Champagneforeveryone · 09/09/2020 10:45

My car will cost £700 to fix Hmm

I am sat in a taxi so that I can go home while a variety of men frown at it and suck their teeth.
