Crack on, as you were, need a lie down and a bit of cosseting after the non stop thrill ride of the last thread. Just take it slow, ok?

That's very cute CM0T My DS also has an indoor rabbit who is always beside him, they are often both streched out watching TV together or sitting on sofa together. We also have a cat but she just stole DS's bean bag sofa and stretches on it.

tootyfruitypickle · 26/09/2020 13:45

I’m watching Mary Berry and feeling quite cosy.

KingscoteStaff · 26/09/2020 14:00

The last time I was this far up the M1 was in 2001.

@ItsAlwaysSunnyOnMN

I've just done my duvet swap over and have a new set of linens as well so can't wait to go to bed tonight...
This might be too exciting and not in the spirit of the thread 🙄

Lazysundayafternoons · 26/09/2020 15:05

My ds has gone to a party, dbaby is having a nap. I have a quiet house and am having a coffee. Will put in benidorm for a bit.

KoalasandRabbit · 26/09/2020 15:10

DH is just going to Sainsburys to pick up my click and collect order. DS asked me to read the whole order to him, then DH asked the same, then DD. Think there's going to be a scramble for some items.

In a further update to the winceyette / brushed cotton debate Chez Champagne, we are also completing The Great Change today.

I have slept for about 3 hours so will have a lovely shower and retire early to my boudoir.

SpeedofaSloth · 26/09/2020 15:37

I bought some Camp. I am going to try it in milk this evening.

Drogonssmile · 26/09/2020 15:43

I booked my speed awareness course today. Got caught speeding at 35 mph in a 30 zone in July 🤦🏻‍♀️

@ItsAlwaysSunnyOnMN

Last night I put my summer duvet away and slept under my cosy winter duvet

It’s a joyous occasion my winter duvet Autumn coming out night

I found out this week that the raving about wool quilts being cool in summer and warm in winter is absolutely true.

Combined with my new posh feather pillow and a silk pillowcase (and the old quilt on top of the memory foam topper for added cushioning), I slept like a brick for nine hours and woke up feeling good for the first time in months. I'm wondering whether my new biologics - started them last week - are helping with this as well, even though it's very quick to start feeling any effect. Could be placebo I suppose, but if it isn't, I can almost see myself functioning as a normal human being for a change by November.

OublietteBravo · 26/09/2020 15:52

I am cleaning and tidying my wardrobe.

QuestionableMouse · 26/09/2020 15:58

I'm trying to figure out what I'm having for tea.

My bedding is in the dryer and had managed to wrap itself into a huge lump so one end is dry while the other is soaking wet.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 26/09/2020 16:01

I just finished a little intro course to Chinese, a lovely language, but I - calmy of course - wonder if it would help to be musical?

And it is still raining like anything here and it is cold-ish.

soddingkitten · 26/09/2020 16:04

Sodding Kitten has been asleep on me since 2pm. Our AppleTV has crashed and is stuck in endless buffering. I either disturb SK and lose him to the garden/DS so I can manually reset it or suck up the boxset interruption.

soddingkitten · 26/09/2020 16:06

Sodding Kitten is winning because he won’t be cuddly like this when he’s fully grown.

PenguinsOnParade · 26/09/2020 16:08

I was really enjoying a peaceful lie down while reading in bed until DH decided to join me, immediately fell asleep and is now snoring loudly in my ear.

maxineputyourredshoeson · 26/09/2020 16:29

My MIL has arrived Grin

SpeedofaSloth · 26/09/2020 16:48

Is there a new thread yet?

KoalasandRabbit · 26/09/2020 16:51

Sainsburys order is here - DS who when I read out the list and said the lollies were for him and he said not really apparently ambushed DH for them. Cat started howling for her tuna. I'm had my lemon curd yoghurt and antibiotic.

Chicken house and run aren't up as its raining. But have managed to get our estate agent on the phone finally and we had 3 viewings last week and one wants a second viewing. Unfortunately they have a property to sell so probably no go but our first second viewing - just been on 2 weeks but first week garden needed work and did most of it last weekend.

ItsAlwaysSunnyOnMN · 26/09/2020 17:05

@HeyLala I think it’s worthy news to be on this thread not all share you joyous news but some of us do. I can’t wait until bedtime I have a great psychological thriller to read too

@Champagneforeveryone I have been looking online at brushed cotton sheets. That’s it I’m ordering them

@MitziK the wool quilts sound lovely but I would missing the change. It’s something I look forward to Blush. The silk sheets sound lovely but are they as cosy as brushed cotton.

Imissmoominmama · 26/09/2020 17:16

My washing has dried even though it has looked like rain all afternoon.

BillywigSting · 26/09/2020 17:20

I am now browsing for a mattress topper.

I have sciatica and our mattress is both rubbish and ancient, to the point where sleeping on the couch is often less painful.

I'm wondering if might be worth just biting the bullet and buying a whole new mattress but that will have to wait until payday.

Spudlet · 26/09/2020 17:23

Our internet is down, and BT have said they’re going to try and fix it by Thursday Confused I do hope they sort it out a bit quicker than that as DH won’t be able to work at home, unless we use all our data!

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 26/09/2020 17:33

I just checked, where I sit and work there's 15°C - I wonder if this is enough reason to turn the heating on?
