This is the one where the news remains dull, and all the irons you bought in the last thread have developed limescale.

I had a slice of toast and now I feel a bit sick. It must be because I am low carbing.The toast was worth it though,it was slightly cold and hard so the butter went on the way it used to in a 1990s B&B.

I ordered a wheelbarrow. It came today.

Anyone who thinks the word 'sequel' promises excitement hasn't seen the sequels to The Matrix.

DS has his preschool vaccinations today.

Yesterday I put up a new blind. Today I need to wash the old curtains and take the old curtain runner bits out of the wall. I’m not sure if I have any polyfilla for the holes.
The cat is on my lap.

I'm going to try to teach DS to tie his school tie later.

I've got cupboards to sort out in preparation for moving house.

I am having a coffee at work but some numpty has left the window open and it's cold

We've run out of bin bags so I've had to use a carrier bag instead.

My neighbours dog has come to visit.

He is male and a Pekinese. My dog is female and a Ridgeback. He is trying very hard here. Should I get him a ladder?

(My dog has been spayed so there will be no babies)

DS alarmed me a bit last night by complaining of terrible tummy ache. He has a not great diet due to fussiness and has just started having lactulose which seemed to be helping, so it was a bit worrying to see him back at square one again. Then DH pointed out that DS had spent a considerable period of time in the raspberry patch and that he isn’t fussy at all about grabbing the ones that are past their best... so now I’m not worried any more. And his tummy is fine today.

I’m about to get in the shower.

I have ironing to do later and the pile contains things that have been there since before lockdown. I feel no shame.

I have a headache. I started low carbing yesterday so it is probably withdrawal from my sugar addiction. My stomach is flatter already though.
I am waiting in for a DHL delivery.

I'm having leftover crumble for breakfast.

DH and I are going on a walk later.

I'm awaiting delivery of my new OU textbooks.

I've just brushed the cat with a tangle teezer. It was very successful. So thank you to @Toddlerteaplease who recommended it.
I've got a new hairdryer arriving today. I'm very excited as I'm going to use a diffuser for the first time later on.
I'm looking forward to watching The Great Gatsby for the first time today.
I've got to phone my second cousin Phil on behalf of my Nan.

The rain stoppe but it is still very windy.
There's building work done all around us, the sound is slightly annyoing.

We're in our caravan im Wales. It's pouring with rain and i don't want to walk to tbe showers.

@Borka my ds refuses to learn. I tie it and take it off then out it over his head. We both have giant heads. It resembles a crumpled rag now.

I'm half way through cleaning my oven.

DD has just found her pearl earring that she lost last month.

She is also making pancakes and bang goes my resolve to cut-down.

The council recycling centre is finally open for pre-booked non urgent visits. DH is very excited and has already filled the boot of the car.

I've put my trainers in the washing machine, only I don't know if they're machine washable so I'm waiting to see what happens.

@MutteringDarkly I want to know now too about why she needs a picture of the back of her ear. I hope the reason isn’t too exciting for this thread though

I bought a bottle of gin yesterday through the self checkout. When I got home I realised it still had the security tag on. The neck is too short to shove a knife in to remove it, so I am going to have to go back to the shop to get it removed.
In better news, DS bought a bottle of nice wine yesterday, so I had a glass of that instead.

My NDN has a new BMW. It's white.
