This is the one where the news remains dull, and all the irons you bought in the last thread have developed limescale.

I had a slice of toast and now I feel a bit sick. It must be because I am low carbing.The toast was worth it though,it was slightly cold and hard so the butter went on the way it used to in a 1990s B&B.

I ordered a wheelbarrow. It came today.

I ordered dd a pack of 12 pairs of socks but only 3 came on Tuesday so I messaged them and they apologised. The other 9 pairs came today.

Also our Tesco flash flooded so they had to let dh and everyone else out of the fire doors!

I got a good supply of booze today. And I was cutting it quite fine as I wasn't sure if I would be in the door by the cut off time. I made it. . I bought a 6 pack of cider and a cardboardoux of wine.

(not in UK and we can only buy alcohol from Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm but they close the queue at 4.45pm. Yes there was a queue to get into the bottle store.)

I was really quite nervous there for a bit that I wouldn't get it!

I have been without a washing machine for the past 4 days.

Tomorrow the lovely John Lewis man is delivering my new machine and also a tumble dryer. Tomorrow will be 95% devoted to laundry and I intend to have empty baskets by bedtime.

More not exciting news. Yes I am spoiling you rotten today - I bought a new gel liner and a pair of false eyelashes. Don't question me I know they won't look right! It was on a whim!

I’ve just dropped dd1 of at the train station. I passed her a face mask but she already had two.

I just put the wheelie bin out. I had to squash the last bag in, because we forgot last time, so it's really full.

I have to go to the local shop to buy some normal Early Grey teabags as the ones I bought with my shop are really smoky (Twinnings dark number 4). I've not bought them before, but they were half price, so I bought two boxes. If I'd only bought one, they'd have been really nice. But I didn't and they aren't.

Day 4 of antibiotics. Ear better but I only wish to sleep.

I have been putting off doing a Big Shop for a whole week now, but after waking up just before seven, I surprised myself by going off and doing it then.

DS had his jabs. He wasn't impressed.

DD's school tshirts are a bit too small. They are out of stock in 6-7, I can't decide whether to wait it out or buy 7-8 which on the plus side will last but on the down side will look stupid for ages.

I have been putting off doing a Big Shop for a whole week now, but after waking up just before seven, I surprised myself by going off and doing it then.

Sometimes its easier to just Do things without having time to think and talk yourself out of it. What did you forget to buy?

I am back from the appointment and did not get wet.

Just got back from a fairly unsuccessful short break in the UK, put on some washing. Didn't have a nap, but DH did.

I had a delivery of a 3 pack of re-usable fabric masks.(I've been using disposables up to now) And I helped my DH plant 2 clematis in the back garden. It was pouring, so I'm now sat in my bathrobe to dry off.

2 out of 3 of my meetings today were cancelled.

I've just eaten a lovely chicken roast for tea and am now avoiding the bombsite kitchen DH will have created for me by watching Fargo.

I just tidied the kitchen after dinner.

I kept having full chest pains and thought, "That's it! I'm a goner!" It was the underwire of my bra sticking out and kept poking me in the chest. So, I'm not departing this earth in the next moments anyways.

I went to the store to replace my bra and guessed at the size since I can't try it on. It fits! No going back to the store and no more chest pain! That deserves me opening the sparkling wine 🍾

I need a wee, and I've got a bit of a knot under my right shoulder blade.

My washing machine needs to be run on a good hot cycle to clean it out. I'm going to add some vinegar.

I've just updated the wrong Powerpoint.

It's actually been a bit of an action packed day - I might for for a lie down.

I washed the outside of my windows then it started to rain.

Still, they needed doing.

I didn't have to make dinner tonight, so my kitchen has remained clean since this morning

I took my dog to get his toenails clipped today.

We are having a dirty McDonald’s dinner as I feel too sick to cook and my husband is working over time.

I went out on the terasse and colleted nasturtium seeds for next year.

Had to look for the correct word and remembered that it is in one of the Pooh books.
