Unusual street/road names..

What is the most unusual street or road name you have seen? If you live on a street with an unusual name do people comment on it?

"Chemistry" in Whitchurch (Cheshire) is a favourite of mine!

There's a small pathway in Swansea called Salubrious Passage. I love the name, though the pathway is anything but salubrious!

When I lived in Glasgow, I was on Kuala Lumpur Lane. I received cards from relatives that frequently read Koala Lumpur and, once, Koala Lamper.

I was looking this up just the other day. Land of Green Ginger is my favourite.

My favourite is Fuk On Road in Hong Kong.

I live on one! I'm looking for a job, and I've actually stopped putting my address on my CV as it was causing people to make comments as if it was some kind of joke. Genuine problem.

I’ve passed by Fanny Hands Lane a few times. I assume it’s named after a local character, but a google search for Fanny Hands didn’t go well.

Not residential, but there used to be (maybe still is?) an underpass in Castleford called Tickle Cock Lane.

Christmas Pie Avenue is nice too.

There's a road called All Alone in Northleach, Glos

There and Back Again Lane in Bristol.

I used to live close to Titty Ho, and it always made me smile.

There's a Pitfall Street in town - I've never dared go down it

We have a Hazel Dean in our town and it always makes me sing when I pass

There's a World's End Lane in London

There's an area near my parents that always makes me chuckle with a Lady Place cottage, Lady Place House etc. I've just looked at a map to check and 'The Bulk Meat Company' is based in No.2 Lady Place Barn I would not be able to work there and ever give out the address over the phone

Cripplecrutch Hill

There's a hamlet called Kemey's Commander (which for some reason I hear in a Russian accent in my head!) and another called Bully hole bottom.

Part of the ring road in Derby is called Lara Croft Way

I like Quality Street. Always makes me think of chocolates...

These are hilarious.

The one that makes me chuckle is Jackass Lane.

Letsby Avenue in Sheffield. South Yorkshire Police are based there.

South Yorks police HQ is on Letsby Avenue.
