Just been browsing rightmove, looks innocuous from the outside.

More like £20,000

madcatladyforever · 18/07/2020 11:33

Grin The very definition of "tarts handbag" Grin

GarlicSoup · 18/07/2020 11:33

@MiniMum97

Why have they put their cars in bubbles?
Corona virus
Rhine · 18/07/2020 11:35

I bet that was a beautiful house as well before the ruined it.

MalificentJones · 18/07/2020 11:35

I can’t go back for a second look because the hairy lights have freaked me out so much. I don’t want to see them again.

madbirdlady22 · 18/07/2020 11:35

Good God it is horrendous inside. Its not another one of Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen's boudoirs is it?!!

OMG, their dogs bed is better than mine!

SockYarn · 18/07/2020 11:37

Once they move all their shite out it will probably be a lovely house. It's seeing past the appalling taste in home decor which is the hard bit.

Councilworker · 18/07/2020 11:37

It's like TK Maxx 'objet d'art' section vommed across the house. Now I know where all the weird ornaments go

Alloverthegrapevine · 18/07/2020 11:38

The house is OK though? All the permanent fixtures and decor are fairly ordinary.

BearSoFair · 18/07/2020 11:40

Wow...every picture was an added moment of WTF
The lips on the stairs
The animals
The awful feathery lights (imagine the spiders that could hide in there!)
The bear waiter in the dining room (I might be tempted to keep him though in all honesty Grin )
The mirrored bed
The bubble cars

Alsohuman · 18/07/2020 11:41

@MsMonkey

You'd need to factor about another £500k onto the purchase price to gut the entire interior
No you wouldn’t. Once all the “stuff” is removed it will be beautiful. It just needs a new kitchen.
ShesMadeATwatOfMePam · 18/07/2020 11:41

Money can't buy taste.

Mooey89 · 18/07/2020 11:42

It’s Joe Exotics house, surely.

Minnie747 · 18/07/2020 11:42

Great find!!

KaptainKaveman · 18/07/2020 11:43

Not a book in sight. Dreadful vulgarity Grin. People who know the price of everything and the value of nothing.

Minnie747 · 18/07/2020 11:43

Correct Grin
ErrolTheDragon · 18/07/2020 11:43

I think 'eclectic' is the word we're looking for.Grin

I don't suppose the sale price includes the animals etc. With those gone it's a lovely house.

Walkerbean16 · 18/07/2020 11:44

that car in the left is worth millions Shock

who has more than one stuffed unicorn!

the lips on the stairs!

the animals have made me feel a bit sick.

EnterNight · 18/07/2020 11:44

@MiniMum97

Why have they put their cars in bubbles?
They are classic cars. The bubbles have fans in them to reduce damp in the air so the cars don't rust. We have a classic car in one in our garage.
BlessedBeTheFruitCake · 18/07/2020 11:44

Wow, is the zebra rocking horse a real, stuffed zebra?Shock
The indoor car, is that part of a cinema room, bizarre. Looks like something my DD would design on Sims after using the cheat for free money 😂

JellyfishandShells · 18/07/2020 11:45

The cars in their plastic tents in the garages ! . It’s just to own rather than display and admire, isn’t it?

Polkadotties · 18/07/2020 11:45

They must be related to the people who own this one, not on such a grand scale though Ashingdon Road, Rochford

YaWeeSkitter · 18/07/2020 11:46

Hertingfordbury sounds to me like one of the spoof places that Victoria wood used in her sketches.

I looked at the previous selling price and it was £,3,250000. 5 years ago . Not a bad mark up !

But what is it about these big houses with so few photos. The older listing only had 8 photos and 1 of them was a nicely positioned bath bridge.
