Just been browsing rightmove, looks innocuous from the outside.

@SugarButterFlour

Why have they got giant tarantulas hanging from their ceilings? Confused
What ?m thankfully I missed that and I'm not going back for another look 😲
NotNowPlzz · 18/07/2020 11:05

How fun is that. Love it. I wouldn't like to live there as too cluttered and a nightmare to clean. But God what personality.

YellowandGreenToBeSeen · 18/07/2020 11:10

Take out the stuffed animals and the car in the gaming room and I LOVE it!

Oliversmumsarmy · 18/07/2020 11:10

Quite terrifying.

Do you think it belongs to someone who is a brave warrior who fought that zebra to its death with a shot gun a 1/2 mile away?

Or someone who just likes dead things. Although the “stuffed” guy riding the motorbike might have taken it to the next level.

Loveinatimeofcovid · 18/07/2020 11:10

Clearly a single ex footballer with a fondness for hunting big game lives there.

PhilCornwall1 · 18/07/2020 11:12

If it was back in the 80s, I would have said some "top shelf" mag owners house.

Def not Farage, he lives in a semi last time I saw his pad.

Walkingtheplank · 18/07/2020 11:13

Wow, that's something else.
Would really like to know who owns it.

TheThreeHeadedBeast · 18/07/2020 11:14

If you watch the video, there is more than one motorbike in the house. I think I counted four all with a something sitting on them.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 18/07/2020 11:14

I thought the polar bear (hopefully not ex-real) was holding a gun.

Other than the interesting decor I love it!

I also wonder who owns it.

I'm, guessing middle-eastern or south asian just by some of the colouring in the living room and the bedroom...

FieryChilli · 18/07/2020 11:14

That’s a lot of stuffed animals and the zebra is the stuff of nightmares. I couldn’t sleep with that in a room

SquirrelFan · 18/07/2020 11:16
Shock So many questions - do you think they actually ride the rocking zebra? Is it a... marital aid???
dottiedodah · 18/07/2020 11:17

Do you think he took inspiration from the Stuffed Animal Museum in Tring (Hertfordshire)! Fascinating place to visit ,not sure I could live with all this Taxidermy though. Beautiful house ,outside better than in I think!

Disfordarkchocolate · 18/07/2020 11:18

And here's me worried my husband will think the crochet flower garland I've just ordered for the kitchen is a bit OTT.

Scrumpyjacks · 18/07/2020 11:19

Is that a giraffe suspended from the ceiling?!

InkieNecro · 18/07/2020 11:19

@EnjoyingTheSilence

What is it about lots of money and appalling taste?
You know when you look at something hideous because it's caught your attention, question if you actually like it or not and then decide it's shite? If you have more money than taste, you just impulsively buy it without time for the questioning to set in.
Roussette · 18/07/2020 11:21

It's revolting!

And why in the name of all that is holy would you not update the kitchen, when you own a multi million pound pile like that?!
My kitchen's nicer than that one!

Horrible animal thing going on

Orangesox · 18/07/2020 11:21

There are so many questions... the taxidermy displays are just the stuff of nightmares. It's a beautiful home and they clearly have rather carefully curated a "unique" collection of belongings that are somewhat different from the norm... it gives me a headache looking at it though, it's so busy and I can't imagine what their poor staff go through keeping it clean!

MsMonkey · 18/07/2020 11:26

You'd need to factor about another £500k onto the purchase price to gut the entire interior

TimelyManor · 18/07/2020 11:26

I reckon it belongs to a sleb I've never heard of.

Giggorata · 18/07/2020 11:27

I quite like taxidermy but the way it is displayed is awful.
The rest of the house is seriously horrible.
The location is OK.

I too would love to know who perpetrated that lot...

PussGirl · 18/07/2020 11:27

Well you can't buy taste, that's for sure.

MrsMoastyToasty · 18/07/2020 11:27

Is that a mannequin outside the front door?

It's quite spoilt by the rusty shed thing by the gates.

TroysMammy · 18/07/2020 11:28

Some of the pictures remind me of the Natural History Museum.

MingeofDeath · 18/07/2020 11:30

I quite like the zebra rocking horse. I would play with it every day.
