However do you make a snake obese? I thought they only ate once a month

Some of them will if you let them. Mines a right piggy and will do the Loch Ness monster thing trying it on when he hasn't long been fed. They're funny little buggers.

V intrigued. What is this Loch Ness Monster thing? I'm giggling a bit at the thought of chubby snakes (no I am not fat shaming snakes).

He'll come to the front of his tank and just poke his head up a way and stay like that. If you go over and put a finger on the glass, he's all over it with his tongue. If husband is sitting in the chair in front of the tank he'll go higher so you can see him over the top of his head. He's 11 now and it's always the same. Pestering for food.

Hated him...would attack the glass if dh went near him. But was so puppy like with me
