I think I have worked out why I feel so "arrghh" today. There is too much raining on me mentally: lockdown, work, then BLM, the statues and the JK Rowling situation. The latter three just feeling like everyone has an opinion and all earnestly want me to agree with them. Everywhere I look someone else has an opinion or is slagging off someone else's. I need to step away from FB, Twitter and the main boards on here for a while I think.

Hello! Haven’t got round to commenting on the last few threads as they’ve moved so fast!
I have to say this week really feels like I’ve hit the wall. My house suddenly feels very claustrophobic and there are too many people in it.

denouncing utilitarian shopping I bought a chair today (Ikea), chortled at the chin hammocks (I'm not sure if this is countrywide but it is very much A Thing in our town), accidentally subverted their one way system (in my defence I was not the only one) ... got home in time to yell at Matt the Wanker Hancock & drink gin.

Dh has booked some emergency leave ... amongst other things I'm trying to sort ds1's EHCP. I am not happy.

A lot of dementors are now gnashing their teeth due to redundancy but a few weeks ago were shouting at people to stay home and that going to the supermarket is murder.

Back to the 2m rule, it's going to need to be reduced, at least outside, or else there will be no room for all the queues as places open. I'm already running out of places to stand and wait for dh to pick me up with my shopping!

Our olde worlde sweet shoppe has re-opened. I bought bags of little sweets for grand children and a big bag of sweets for DS. I saw a few shops with lights on and people inside them having a head scratch re social distancing perhaps. All good news. The smell coming from the chippy made me hungry too.

Twitter seems to have gone from an Indignation Machine to an Irrational Mob machine.

It wouldn't matter in the slightest if crap journalists didn't treat stuff that happens on one of the least popular social networks as news.
