What would you buy yourself as a treat right now if you had the money to do so?

If you had some spending money to buy yourself a treat, what would you get?

Ordinarily I might buy myself a new pair of shoes or some makeup, but that feels rather pointless given no one is going to notice on a video call. I also don't want to buy something that has a high chance of needing to be returned, so thing like bras are definitely out because those need to be tried on in person.

I might get my hair done, but hairdressers aren't open for business.

So... what would you buy?

(I'm budgeting for the month ahead and would typically set aside a little bit of money for fun spends, but I'm struggling to think of how I would actually use that budget right now. First world problems, I know.)

@Barkingfuckingdogs I'm also loving how people's idea of a treat has ranged from a pair of a slippers to a new house! Wink I suppose I did say if money was no object...

Haven't splurged on anything yet, but there have been some tempting ideas. I do apologise to anyone who has been encouraged to overspend thanks to some of the wonderful suggestions on this thread! Grin

Have bought myself two things suitable for my new WAH lifestyle:

  1. Olivia von Halle silk pyjamas
  2. Dyson desk fan

Both of which I adore so far and have made my life just that little bit more decadent.

I think that is it for me - changing jobs to something extremely fancy, well paid and almost too good to be true. So am saving like mad in case it all goes wrong and I end up tits over arse Grin

Lovely thread though, thanks OP. Has made me smile to read about what everyone would buy themselves.

Bit more than spending money but recent experience has shown me that life is too short not to and I'm gonna get one.

@primerosehillannie I like those choices!

Depends how much I had but I'm saving for getting my car wrapped so probably that!
