Yes, I've just realised it's North Promenade, Lytham St.Annes. Does that mean It's in Fylde so doesn't come under Blackpool TC? Shame, because it's part of the history of that area and I doubt there are many of them left. .

Right.. So that is pretty messed up like. Then I went and looked at other houses in the same area and like wtf!! All of the houses are weird and ugly like that. Like I'd there an issue in that area or what! I've never seen so many messed up houses. Also looks like no one seems to care for their house.

I haven’t read the whole thread, but I t’s not on the main road to Blackpool (Clifton Drive North); it’s round the corner on the promenade. Some people on that stretch have had the dunes in front of their houses removed with bulldozers from time to time! It’s on a row of very large, individually built houses and has never been a cafe or anything else. It’s fairly quiet down that end of the prom.

Someone should call the Colour Police - even 1970’s houses were tones of brown and orange. What’s with all the concrete slabs? really horrendous

The houses there get extremely weather beaten and need a lot of upkeep on the exterior.

I agree in the Megan Draper thing, way back on page 1. It was obviously done completely in the 70’s/early 80’s with a few updates later (like the mosaic tiled wet room shower) as the occupant aged. At 4500sqft and a paved ‘garden’, that’ll cost a fair bit to redo.

@JacobReesMogadishu. I live in Blackpool so hopefully can clear up some points for you.

1. This house is not in Blackpool. It's in StAnnes. It's on the seafront. That is why the price is £600k. It will get knocked down in my opinion and rebuilt.
2. Lytham is not next to an airport. I assume you are talking about BAE.
3. The central tourist areas of Blackpool aren't great. Some other areas of Blackpool are lovely. We have an amazing beach and some excellent parks.
4. I also watched the documentary you are taking about. It was absolute nonsense. Lots of it were made out to make Blackpool worse than it is. E.g. filming scenes in Blackpool that weren't actually Blackpool ( they were Fleetwood)
