1st restaurant you'll go to when this is all over?

So thinking ahead of things to look forward to, what is the first restaurant you'll be going to and what will you be ordering?

The beach cafe up on the coast at old Hunstanton. I am really missing the sea and can't wait to be able to drive up there for a long walk...

A fabulous independent restaurant in our town. We go there often and really miss it.

Darby's in Vauxhall, under the new US embassy. SO GOOD!

I love Chez Bruce as well. A late lunch & BYO , followed by a lovely stroll.

Pizza Express. My local pub for a Sunday lunch.

Ooh, maybe this one café in town and of course, Subway.

One of the Hakkasan Group, Yatchua, Robata, Hakkasan or Sake No Hana.

Chinese or Japanese.

Or Franca Manca for pizza.

I really love eating out and did it a LOT. the range of cuisines available in my city are my favourite thing about living here.

But honestly? I am just really worried a lot of them will close and never re-open

While we've been in lockdown, Glynn's been busy delivering food boxes to the Chelmsley Wood area in Brum (lots of high rise flats there) and therefore he deserves 3

Can I lower the tone and say the chip-shop? My local one has shut down completely for the duration. Can't believe it's been over a month since I had chips.

Our local Indian. It is fab and they are doing takeaways and deliveries but nothing beats sitting round a table with friends and several bottles of wine.

Either Ask as I was given a load of vouchers for my birthday just before lockdown, or a local bbq place where we did go for my birthday but DS2 was unable to come with us so I’d like to go back, with him this time.

Or to our local Indian restaurant which is brilliant and only a short walk from our house.

Wagamama's hands down - chilli fried squid and a steak yaki soba washed down with a large peach iced tea 👅

The Real Greek in Dulwich or on The Southbank, not fusy. But I will stop on the way and have a massively overpriced shit sugary Hazelnut Latte from Starbucks, I am really missing those!

The fantastically old fashioned pizzeria about a mile away. Not hugely fussed what to order, because it's all so good. They don't take bookings though, so we may have to join the queue at 6am to get in for lunch!

I'd like to say Cafe Rouge, but it's more likely to be McDonalds depending on how much money I have left when it's all over.

I guess I just fancy a day of not cooking. But often find restaurant food too salty or greasy (how picky do I sound!)

McDonald's! Then probably Gregg's. I miss their vegetable bakes so much. Thankfully,my local fish and chip shop have been doing deliveries,so I haven't had to go without my favourite meal of cod and chips for the last five weeks!
