What's your household bought since lockdown?

Obviously food, also wine, lager, a couple of magazines, compost and plants all from supermarket.

DH ordered some essential gadget for work. I ordered a pair of sandles (had same ones two years ago and they were so comfortable) and DD some shorts for running. Desperately need some summer slippers. Feel bad about ordering these as it's increasing contact for others, but I guess they have to work, so had a dilemma.

This isn't a judgemental thread, but out of interest.

Sunshine, I was wondering that too as it was on a few people’s lists.

I finally managed to get hold of a thermometer last night as thought we had one but it’s vanished. Also bought some essential oils, paint and face care items as couldn’t get them on the food shop.

Loads of stuff to be honest.

A trampoline
A hot tub
Some summer clothes for the DC
Underwear for the DC
Loads of craft supplies
Some board games
Some summer clothes for me as I’ve lost a lot of weight since last summer and had nothing that fit
A new arm strap for my iPhone for running
A new paddling pool for the DC
Some paint to paint the kitchen

There’s probably more!

I saw my postie the other day with an armful of parcels (not mine!) and said to him was it a real pain all the extra deliveries but he said he thinks about it as a way of putting money back into the economy and keeping things ticking over. He was quite chipper about it (disclaimer: he is a stereotypical cheerful village postie Grin)

And today I’m going to try and order some paint for the shed and some compost.

@SunshineCake - I think other people might have had the same idea as me, as there weren't many megaphones left on Amazon. Their one sits at the back door, so I can use it to give them a shout when they are sitting in the living room. They don't hear me knocking from there, and of course I can't go in any more.

Some new garden chairs
A humane mouse trap
Some online clothes
A child's mattress protector

FiveGoMadInDorset · 25/04/2020 11:22

Football goals and football for garden
Badminton set
Clothes from Seasalt, had vouchers from Christmas and birthday and need some summer stuff
Essential oils and mango butter to make bath melts

LidlDonkey · 25/04/2020 11:31

Lots of vegetable seeds. Couldn't get any grow bags so have made my own out of bin bags Grin.

Beer from a local brewery once a week. Vitamin supplements.

Nothing other than that as trying to keep costs down
