Prime Minister writing his resignation letter, but putting a late Summer date on it. His baby is due in June.....

Say whaaaat?!

AnneLovesGilbert · 21/04/2020 22:12

Carrie, is that you?

Jilljams · 21/04/2020 22:12

Where have you heard that? It seems very unlikely considering he’s waited his whole life to have this job. Though I can well believe he doesn’t like the reality of the job.

HollowTalk · 21/04/2020 22:12

Did he tell you that?

Smellbellina · 21/04/2020 22:12

Doubt it, he loves a bit of glory and it’s worth the odds to go with it for now.
But, if the going gets too tough, BJ will get going. Much like DC did before him.

HollowTalk · 21/04/2020 22:12

And the day Boris resigns to look after his own child...

WaterIsWide · 21/04/2020 22:12

The rumour is gaining ground in the newspapers. Not the right wing shit rags, obvs.

KrakowDawn · 21/04/2020 22:13

Tbf jilljams I don't think anyone would be enjoying it at the moment.

HollyBollyBooBoo · 21/04/2020 22:13

As if! It's been his life's work to get to PM!

corlan · 21/04/2020 22:13

Mystic Meg is back!

BilboBercow · 21/04/2020 22:14

Lol. No, he's been desperate for the job his entire life, he won't go quietly. He definitely won't be leaving due to the birth of his 6th/7th/8th (whichever one this is) child. I very much doubt he's ever changed a nappy in his life

Toilenstripes · 21/04/2020 22:15

Haven’t seen this. Are you from the DM?.

slipperywhensparticus · 21/04/2020 22:15

No one knows what he is going to do except him surely he is entitled to parental leave like everyone else

TheSpottedZebra · 21/04/2020 22:16

He's not some first time father, looking forward to being ankle deep in nappies! He has [number redacted] children, he's been down this road before!

Ninkanink · 21/04/2020 22:16

🙄🙄

TooTrueToBeGood · 21/04/2020 22:17

The rumour is gaining ground in the newspapers.

Post some links then, otherwise it seems much more likely you are just repeating baseless shite you've read on Facebook.

emptyplinth · 21/04/2020 22:17

Not impossible. Tbh he's looked from the start like he really wasn't enjoying the job and it's not the sort of role you can do part-time while you're recovering from serious illness.

ZombieFan · 21/04/2020 22:18

lol 😂🤣😅😥😴🤐

Uygop · 21/04/2020 22:18

I wonder whether the thought of a very hard Brexit, at the same time as Coronovirus, is too much even for him.

CrazyTimesAreOccurring · 21/04/2020 22:19

I don't think he would whilst on sick leave. And mid pandemic. I think he's got more to him than that. I'm not a fan, but I just think he'd not do a Cameron

nancy75 · 21/04/2020 22:20

I’m not in any way in the know but I have seen quite a lot of talk about this on social media, he’s either quitting or being pushed (with Hove being lined up to replace)
Obviously take it all with a giant pinch of salt!

Lessofallthisunpleasantness · 21/04/2020 22:22

Maybe he has been furloughed. They seem to be managing without him and could do with cutting some costs considering all the money they are giving away.....

.... wait.....

ummm....

Grasspigeons · 21/04/2020 22:23

I think he cod, off the back of being very ill/new baby. Then a hard brexit in a covid world isnt his fault. He becomes more a hero thwarted in his prime by covid and we can all imagine how great it would have been, but for covid. Plus the press seems to have finished with him.
