She seems cold and untrustworthy. Her speech is full of words such as ‘compassion’ but I feel she isn’t worthy of addressing the nation like this in view of how she’s behaved.

Doesn’t come across well at all does she, unlike the rest of them.

The chancellor has written to a number of local businesses to thank them for their efforts during this crisis 👍🏻. Folk have posted about the letters on local social media pages.

She's so insincere.

If she was competent her downright nastiness might not seem so bad. If she was decent her sheer incompetence might not seem so bad. But she is the perfect package of unpleasant and inadequate and I don't think there is a figure in government I dislike more.

I can't think of a nice word to say about her tbh, completely shafted my family and friends.
She has been on this mission of giving Police extra powers, some they didn't want, since November.
She can't be trusted, but no worse than any of the others.

@Namechangervaver I had to rewind her saying that weird number and still couldn't work out what it was supposed to be!! Sounded like something my 4 year old would say when counting to 'eleventy-thousand'

I so want to like her as a female BAME politician but she’s just awful.

She also says 'somethink' which makes me cringe so much I find it hard to listen to anything else she says.

They had to roll her out eventually because they can't hide the Home Sec away for ever when the country is in an unprecedented crisis but my jaw dropped when I heard her "I'm sorry if people feel that way" apology. Truly awful.

Half of me wants to cheer her for being Home Secretary the other half is cringing at her inability to string a coherent sentence together.

She is a disgrace! "I'm sorry people feel that way", what?! Like we are being over sensitive about healthcare professionals, prison officers, paramedics etc. dying unnecessarily because they don't have the basic equipment they need!

She’s probably been on an intensive how-not-to-smirk training course since this started and now she’s being given a trial run. The minute she smirks it’s all over. The concentration needed not to smirk is taking all her attention so she can’t say numbers.

She’s terrible - but it’s SO annoying because I don’t want the only very senior woman in the cabinet to be terrible but there’s no getting away from it.
