What do you wish you’d done before lockdown?

1. Sorted out and fenced our front garden so we had somewhere outside to sit not in full view of the neighbours
2. Had a bikini wax
3. Had my acrylic nails removed
4. Encouraged DP to get a haircut before it was too late. His hair grows ridiculously fast and he won’t let me touch it

@amiaweed I wish I had my coil fitted, appointment is meant to be this week. Petrified of getting pregnant with a four month old baby. On the plus side no sex (struggling with this post baby).

I wish I had cut the grass, the lawnmower has packed in. I can't get parts to try to fix it and if I cant fix it, replace it. my garden looks dreadful

Cleaned my oven. Can't use the oven pride now because the dc will touch it/lick something/generally get in the way.

Made better choices in library books. A dark, psychological thriller and an account of a doctor working in war zones don't appeal to me at the moment. I feel guilty because they could be just what someone else would like.
Had my hair cut. It will be pistols at dawn to get an appointment at my hairdressers!

@ItIsAwful I get the timing thing, I had my first at 18 then 20 and always said if I had another it would be the 'right' time, as if there's ever a thing but at least where I could enjoy the pregnancy and planning as opposed to thinking oh shit!
I guess we'll just have to stick at the practising bit for longer :/

Dc haircuts, brought more ink and paper for the printer, made more room in kitchen for our makeshift classroom and more arts and crafts for creative time.

I ordered paint for my kid from www.tts-group.co.uk/ - for the poster above disappointed at not buying paint.

The only thing I'd wished I'd sorted was to buy seeds and compost early. I have them arriving very soon but it's too late to plant for summer crops now. They needed to be started off a month or so ago for early crops.

Had a hair cut! I usually leave it for 3 months or so (last had it cut in December) and then it gets to the point where I really can't do anything with it and then I book in. It was just at the point and I missed the boat 😭.

Bought a trampoline for our daughter. X

Got a back door key cut. Trivial I know but the shaft of the key is bending and is no longer true.

Glad I had the presence of mind to get my hair cut.

-Bought new glasses (I had the appointment but then dithered on which frames to get and thought I’d pop back when I had more time)
-Had my haircut (cancelled one in Feb as thought I didn’t need it and would wait until March)

Gone to the optician

Bought my orchid home from work. Poor little thing won’t be in a good shape by the time we’re back in.

And I really really wish I’d just gone back to NZ for my uncles funeral in Feb and seen my family.

Took baby ds swimming more. He's only been a couple of times and loved it.

Taken my very elderly cat for a check up at the vet as she is not eating much.
Hugged my two adult daughters as they don't live with me.
Got my side fence fixed.
Had my kitchen and dining room repainted.
Bought a treadmill.
Gone to the dentist and hygienist.
Bought some more PJs.
Bought some compost.

I can be very smug and say as soon as Boris announced on the Thursday that schools were shutting on the Friday I was straight down B&Q so I have painted 34 fence panels and my daughters bedroom. I do however wish I had gone to the dentist, had the dog clipped and hugged my Mum and Daughter who lives away from home.

Taken the dog to the groomers - she now looks more like a sheep, made DH go to the barbers - he'll soon look worse than the dog 😂
Really wish I had gone to primark to buy DD & DS some summer bits, they only need t-shirts and shorts for getting mucky in the garden so I resent paying more than a few quid 🙄
