What do you wish you’d done before lockdown?

1. Sorted out and fenced our front garden so we had somewhere outside to sit not in full view of the neighbours
2. Had a bikini wax
3. Had my acrylic nails removed
4. Encouraged DP to get a haircut before it was too late. His hair grows ridiculously fast and he won’t let me touch it

Had my Hobbycraft order sent to our house instead of PILs house
Bought more birdseed.

Bought everything we could afford from the garden centre.

LIZS are you aware of these. They always calm my blepharitis right down.

They were recommended by both the ophthalmologist at the hospital and my Optician, so safe to use.

I got some from Amazon last week

Gone to the dentist, dropped off food for the food bank, got my bike and turbo trainer out of storage

Bought paint and other decorating supplies to keep DH occupied.
Fetch DD’s belongings from her uni house, we have her but there is a car load of stuff to collect if/when we are allowed to travel, plus we have no idea what state the house will have been left in when the 5 of them decamped quickly on the day uni closed down.

Emptied the garage to the tip and charity shop so we could do more clearing out.

There are loads of Easter Eggs and Easter goodies in the supermarkets around here! No problem buying for Easter.

I wish I could have had my nails sorted out. My DD wishes her new kitchen had been done.

New husband?? Never had kids?! So many regrets 😂😂😂

Got a new job. I came close a couple of times, and was being quite choosy.

Stuck now with a horrible boss in a dysfunctional role now. At least I dont have to see her face every day!

Had more sex with my BF. We don’t live together so we can’t see each other until this is over.

Gone to the hygienist.

Had my hair cut.

Bought more hair dye.

Visited my mum

Why are some people saying Easter eggs ? They are in the supermarkets , loads of them you could get as part of your shopping you are allowed to do .
Someone said printer paper , you can get that online and also some supermarkets will sell that also

Gone on holiday. I'd booked for me, DM and Ds to go away next Saturday to the Canaries for a week. DH was meant to be decorating and dog minding at home 😂

Seems ages since last year's holiday.

Miss my mum so much, WhatsApp is not the same.

Also getting new flooring and window shutters.

Hugged my mum more the last time I called round, instead of just doing our usual goodbye hug.

Bought a couple of pairs of joggers. I'm wearing PE kit to work because we're doing PE a couple times a day but dp is a bit anxious so I'm putting school clothes into the wash as soon as I get home. I'm doing way more washing than usual.

Bought a few more new books.

Planted some vegetables seeds.

Moved in with my partner ☹️

Stocked up on hair dye!

i would have definitely bought those work trousers i was planning to and possibly shoes.

You know you can buy paint and Easter eggs etc on-line? Homebase is delivering and no lack of Easter eggs if you can get supermarket slot.

What happens with acrylic nails when you cant get them professionally maintained or removed ? Do they just keep getting longer as the normal nail underneath grows ? ( tried googling but only seemed to be about having them taken off professionally)

Moved house.

Also for Easter eggs, I’ve just ordered some and had them delivered to family members via Amazon

Got the scaffolding down from my house, I’m stuck with only half a garden for now and it bugs me
Taken the cats to the vet for their jabs which are now beyond overdue

Seen my dad and step mum - we would have gone up for Mother's Day.
Washed the car.
Bought paracetamol - am having to resort to lemsip to get me through my period 🙄.
Bought a new overlocker as my best one broke for the millionth time and I had had enough of the damn thing - I went to buy one on 13th March and the shop was bizarrely shut. Thought I'd arrange to go the following week and it all went to shit. Just hope my old one can see me through as I use it every day for work.

@JellyfishandShells your real nails will just grow out underneath and eventually if you keep cutting them down you’ll have no acrylic left. Otherwise it’s a long process of filing and acetone soaking which I’ve promised myself I’ll get round to this week
