  1. Sorted out and fenced our front garden so we had somewhere outside to sit not in full view of the neighbours
  2. Had a bikini wax
  3. Had my acrylic nails removed
  4. Encouraged DP to get a haircut before it was too late. His hair grows ridiculously fast and he won’t let me touch it

Got the garden done so we could take the baby to play outside - it was booked for next week :(
Got a cat flap put in
Stocked up on tonic water

emmcan · 29/03/2020 10:18

Bought shares in all of the medical companies that any UK politician is linked to.

Juancornetto · 29/03/2020 10:19

Got all the books I could out of the library. Bought shedloads of.books from the local charity shops

BearSoFair · 29/03/2020 10:19

Bought new wallpaper for the living room. We decided we'd get it closer to Easter and decorate over the long weekend but it would have been a great way to pass a few days now!

Doje · 29/03/2020 10:20

Take the bottles to the bottle bank.
Encouraged my husband to get that vasectomy we've been discussing for 2 years. There's all sorts of reasons to not go to the doctors now!

Things I'm glad I didnt get round to :- Booking the family trip to Thailand for August.

TheTurnOfTheScrew · 29/03/2020 10:20

Another one for garden supplies. I have a courtyard garden, so everything's in pots. Not only do I need to replace the annuals, and seed grown stuff, but I had a bad run at the end of the summer with a few small shrubs like azaleas dying off. I just ignored it all in September, and thought I'd get stuck back in in March. It's like a wasteland.

And we could have had a short UK break at Feb half-term. We often do, but were supposed to be having our big holiday in April (hollow laugh) so stayed home to save money.

But we are lucky that it was DC1's birthday on the 13th, so had a lovely family meal out with the ILs just before everything shut down.

Snogged the guy at work I really fancy and who we have both been slowly flirting with each other!

Looks like October beforeI get a chance and by then I will be a fat sloth!

SylvanianFrenemies · 29/03/2020 10:22

Moved to a house with a garden 😢. We were days away from putting our flat on the market.
Bikini wax, hair dye and cut.
Done a huge food shop for elderly relatives.
Complete planned visit to the dump with stuff that's cluttering up the place

Wewearpinkonwednesdays · 29/03/2020 10:23

Built a fence up the back garden to split it in half so we don't need to share it with the dick head upstairs, and I could leave the door open for the dog all day. He won't allow us to build a face, fucking idiot he is. He never even goes in the garden.
Bought paint, brushes and Rollers. Could have done so much decorating.

Tootletum · 29/03/2020 10:23

Bit confused by people talking about Easter chocolate. We can still buy that?

mrsmoppp · 29/03/2020 10:24

Just to put a spin on it I wish I hadn't let my husband have my dentist appointment. Well sort of, he was in pain and got it sorted but I'm having some worrying sharp pains that I think are going to get worse, don't think I will be able to attend my new appointment on 7th April. I suppose I have to balance the occasional twinge with the PITA he would have been with roaring toothache.

Made my hair appointment a week earlier so I’d have been able to get my roots done..
Taken DD1 swimming one last time
Gone to the beach next to my (house which is now closed off)
Travelled down to see my mum for the weekend with the kids
...

1066vegan · 29/03/2020 10:31

I walked past my local Wickes on the way to Tesco last week. You couldn't go inside but there was a sign saying that they were doing click and collect. I expect all branches are doing the same.

PowerslidePanda · 29/03/2020 10:33

Taken toddler DD to be measured for new shoes

Retrieved the high chair that's being stored at my parents' house

Surly · 29/03/2020 10:34

Had sex with the fit guy I've been flirting with for 6 months

Leflic · 29/03/2020 10:34

Had Botox.
I knew they would shut up shop but I was concerned I shouldn’t be spending the money in these uncertain times.
I did think I’d start a fitness regime, have time to look after my skin and emerge de stressed and beautiful.
In reality I’ve been getting more wrinkles in the sun, getting cross with DS, stressing about money, eating and drinking tons of wine and squinting at a screen a lot. I look haggard.

Mintychoc1 · 29/03/2020 10:35

Had sex with my boyfriend. We were both tired so we just went to sleep. Now we don’t know when we’ll next see each other.

TheMamaYo · 29/03/2020 10:36

Ordered a skip to have during all of lockdown. 👍

Bowerbird5 · 29/03/2020 10:37

I couldn't get a Dairy Free one from the big Tesco. We managed to get a delivery slot. This is Day 13 for me and we did a big order ( for us 2 ) so we don’t have to go out now for a least a month. My one luxury was an Easter Egg as it is my birthday at Easter and our Anniversary on the Wednesday. There was only three items missing plain flour, yeast and my Easter Egg. 😕 I was going to share it with DH.

I wish I bought the tomato plug plants I saw and some bags of compost. We gardened all week in the sunshine and I really need some compost.
I wish the builder had done the shower first and then the path. I have no shower because he was half way through, luckily the plumber turned the water on upstairs before he left so I have a toilet and a basin. I have a plastic basin in the shower tray and a jug. We are managing.

chocolateisavegetable · 29/03/2020 10:38

Had a haircut
Moved more of our money into cash instead of shares
