We are having takeaway of some sort as after several days of no-one eating my food I told DH I would slit my wrists if i had to cook for the rest of the week.

Probably Indian for DH and I (a lamb something for me) and fish and chips for the Dcs. Very useful having both those shops next to each other.

Mmmm della I love lentils. Might make a dahl tadka next week...and tandoori chicken skewers!

Last night - roast chicken, homemade oven chips, coleslaw and salad.
Tonight - turkey chilli and brown rice.
Tomorrow - salt and pepper salmon fillet with stir fry veg.

I think I’m going to make chilli tonight. With homemade wedges and chipotle ranch dressing dip, plus pico de gallo and crushed avocado.

We were supposed to have roast chicken with garlic and lemon roast potatoes, roasted carrots, red onions and cauliflower, and peas and gravy yesterday, but I was ill, so we're having that tonight. Can't wait!

Pizza tonight using a french stick and getting the kids to do toppings themselves so they’re involved. Plus it’s like the freschetta pizzas (anyone remember them??) and we all get full for little cost. Mum win

I loved those baguette pizzas as a child!

We're having mint honey marinaded lambracks, with creamy garlic mash, broccoli, brussies, leek, beans, asparagus, and baby carrots.

nocti, what are lemon roast potatoes? Sounds tasty!

dudsville · 22/03/2020 20:56

Sorry you're ill and i was selfishly seeking a recipe...

Lemon, garlic and thyme makes great roast potatoes.

Or, you could do crushed potatoes with thyme and garlic. Much easier than roast potatoes and just as tasty.
