We are having takeaway of some sort as after several days of no-one eating my food I told DH I would slit my wrists if i had to cook for the rest of the week.

Probably Indian for DH and I (a lamb something for me) and fish and chips for the Dcs. Very useful having both those shops next to each other.

Chicken chasseur! It was lovely! It was one of those cook in the bag jobbies. So easy to do and serve with rice.

I am doing breakfast for dinner today. That barely counts as cooking, White toast with lashings of butter, eggs and grilled tomatoes.

I am having a Famous Five moment.

We’re having cooked breakfast for dinner today as well! Smile

Hashbrowns, chipolatas, streaky bacon, roasted mushrooms and beef tomatoes, fried eggs and baked beans.

P1nkHeartLovesCake · 05/03/2020 12:50

Tonight we are having home made lamb kebabs, grilled halloumi and salad with wine 🍷🍷🍷 for me and dh

DC are having halloumi & chicken nuggets in pita bread with salad as they aren’t too keen on lamb, well they will eat it in a curry or sauce but not as pieces of meat 🙄

Ninkanink · 05/03/2020 12:57

Crazy children! More lamb for you though!! Grin

I love that meal or variations thereof. Quite fancy some proper meat now! Luckily it’s steak on the menu for tomorrow’s dinner.

creamy chicken pasta with garlic bread

It's chicken breasts chopped up and sauteed in olive oil, add garlic puree, salt, pepper & Italian herbs, then add a carton of passata and simmer, add a small carton of cream and lots of basil and simmer till the pasta is cooked. Serve with penne / fussili and loads of grated fresh parmesan and garlic bread and green salad - always a hit in our house!

I made it last night with enough for tonight as we have a late finish due to dd's sport. All i have to do it cook the pasta, reheat the chicken & sauce and stick the garlic bread in the oven - dinner on the table in 15mins tonight!

mbosnz · 05/03/2020 14:30

Tonight it's teriyaki salmon on udon noodles with stirfried veges.
