I know how to say ‘I am 13 years old’ I’m now 32 and count up to 10 in German.

That’s all I can remember from my German lessons in school.

I know the sign for sausages in BSL, which is all I remember from an assembly by the deaf unit at my junior school c 1980 before the deaf unit got closed down.

@Tillygetsit when our kids were small, as a family we set ourselves the challenge of learning Jabberwocky off by heart. And we found it works really well if you sing it to the tune of "There is a tavern in the town" if you repeat certain parts of lines, thus:

Twas brillig and the slithy toves (slithy toves)
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe
(In the wabe) all mimsy were the borogroves
And the mome raths outgrabe (raths outgrabe)

It's immensely good fun and we still do it as a family from time to time even though they are all grown up now.

Try it. You won't regret it.
