This exit poll is just...no words.

OP posts:
WellErrr · 12/12/2019 22:36

How can anyone look at the awful people at the top of the conservative arty and think, yup, that's who I want in charge of my future?

Do you think that some people think this about the Labour Party?

VenusStarr · 12/12/2019 22:36

I'm so fucking depressed. I'm praying that the exit poll is wrong.

LittleSweet · 12/12/2019 22:37

Boris tried to organise a reporter being beaten up...yet Corbyn is the thug? There's no logic for a tory voter.

Kuponut · 12/12/2019 22:37

None of the students living in halls at my uni got polling cards or any indication of where to go to vote. That will be the shit storm tomorrow morning.

nocoolnamesleft · 12/12/2019 22:39

Only positive I can think of is that surely they have to get rid of Corbyn, now.

Borkins · 12/12/2019 22:39

Not what I predicted at all
England must really dislike Corbyn

TurquoiseDress · 12/12/2019 22:40

Fuckity fuck!

MarshaBradyo · 12/12/2019 22:40

Looking at comparison with other elections, if correct, he’s higher than many

Corbyn the opposite

SueDoeName · 12/12/2019 22:40

It was in my interest to vote Tory . And I still couldn't

This was completely about Brexit and people just focused on that

I was fine with us leaving. For it initially tho I didn't vote in the referendum.

I still did my research - Brexit wasn't my be all/end all . I was pissed off with Brexit pissing about but what the hell?

Wilberforce1 · 12/12/2019 22:40

It's Corbyns fault, so many people dislike him and he should have gone way before this election then labour would have stood a chance.

WeArnottamused · 12/12/2019 22:40

It’s a sad day for the country, it’s an even sadder day for the most vulnerable in our society

Jux · 12/12/2019 22:42

😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥😥

koshkat · 12/12/2019 22:43

England must really dislike Corbyn

He has destroyed the Labour Party I loved and was a member of. His policies are misogynist. He has allowed anti-semitism to run unchecked. He has welcomed Momentum in and that has been the death of the party. He is a disgrace.

Lindy2 · 12/12/2019 22:44

None of the students living in halls at my uni got polling cards or any indication of where to go to vote.

And none of them had the common sense to do anything about it?

There were "oh I need to find out where to go" noises but I suspect any number that did would have been minimal.

Paddy1234 · 12/12/2019 22:47

Just had a conversation with my OH - would have been so different is Ed Miliband hadn't of shafted his brother.
Us middle ground voters were in a complete dilemma - scared of JC and against Brexit.

MrsPeakyBlinders · 12/12/2019 22:52

England must really dislike Corbyn

No shit , Sherlock

Youreterriblemuriel99 · 12/12/2019 22:54

Don’t forget that we don’t have proportional representation in this country, so say if 40% of the population vote for a party it doesn’t mean that that party gets 40% of the seats. I’m sure Labour will have a bigger percentage of the total share than percentage of won seats.

ThatLibraryMiss · 12/12/2019 22:57

Like Corbyn or not, he was the democratically elected leader of the Labour party but the knives were out for him and Labour MPs were briefing against him before the ink was dry on the announcement of the leadership results. If the party had done its job of opposing the government instead of its own leader the last few years would have been quite different.

AShaveAndAHarecutHalfPrice · 12/12/2019 22:58

Hideous

Borkins · 12/12/2019 22:58

No need to be rude. I was just expressing surprise at the level of Corbyn hatred, if that many people would rather vote Boris!

Disillusioneddaisy · 12/12/2019 23:00

@RunningAwaywiththeCircus and do you have any compassion for the disabled, the kids in poverty, the nhs that boris has brought to its knees?

Sandaled · 12/12/2019 23:01

If they are at university you would hope they would have the common sense to check where to go, and that their polling cards had come through. Goodness. Anyway, exit polls may be wrong (crosses fingers), doubtful though, unfortunately.

Srictlybakeoff · 12/12/2019 23:01

Totally depressed and horrified that people could vote in this way . I’m in Scotland - at least we have some sense . Think there will be civil unrest if we don’t get another Indy ref
