Thank goodness!

overtheseagull · 12/12/2019 22:30

It's like living in an episode of Black Mirror.

andpancakesforbreakfast · 12/12/2019 22:30

Oohaye
so true

Abc123def · 12/12/2019 22:31

I’m moving to Scotland

Anjo2011 · 12/12/2019 22:31

Change could have been good but with Corbyn it was over before it started, he needs to go

thehorseandhisboy · 12/12/2019 22:31

If only.

You could turn that off.

percheron67 · 12/12/2019 22:31

If the Conservatives do have a large majority I sincerely hope that Jeremy Corbyn does not resign. He is the biggest weapon the Tories have!! (yes, I know he is Labour).

SueDoeName · 12/12/2019 22:31

What did anyone seriously have against Corbyn ? I dont get it

I was fine with us leaving eu but I could never have voted for conservatives.

Smelborp · 12/12/2019 22:31

Shit shit shit.

HollowTalk · 12/12/2019 22:32

The thing about Trump, though, is that soon he won't be in power and as long as he hasn't pressed the nuclear button then everything will go back to normal. With Brexit we are in for many many years of disaster.

thehorseandhisboy · 12/12/2019 22:32

Youreterrible yes the divisions created by the Brexit vote have caused huge damage in communities, and will do for generations to come.

If there are generations to come, after Johnson and Trump have destroyed the planet, that is.

OhTheRoses · 12/12/2019 22:32

It will be such a relief. Common sense may have prevailed over the hard left. The country and its economy will be in far more sensible hands. Had Labour won, we'd have left the UK.

GruffaIoChrimbo · 12/12/2019 22:32

Abc123def Can you take me with you?!

Xenia · 12/12/2019 22:32

Tremendous news... but let us wait until tomorrow to be sure.

The British people have done so well in seeing through Corbyn and the far left.

Vinorosso74 · 12/12/2019 22:33

@SueDoeName they believed what they heard in the right wing press. How the hell anyone thinks Johnson is a.goos choice is beyond me!

Mysterian · 12/12/2019 22:33

@SueDoeName Seriously? You have no idea what people have against Corbyn? You must spend your time only talking to people with the same views as you and ignoring anybody else.

maidenover · 12/12/2019 22:33

I need a drink.

I dread to think what the next few years are going to bring.

MrsCat1 · 12/12/2019 22:34

God help us all.

Hels20 · 12/12/2019 22:34

SueDoe - how can you ask what people have against Corbyn? Anti-Semitic for one. Dreadful that Jews feel they can’t vote for him. I think he is a nutcase and don’t unrealistic.

All the leaders are awful.

Utterly depressing. If it is such a large majority it means we are stuck with BoJo for 5 years.

Besidesthepoint · 12/12/2019 22:35

I’m moving to Scotland

How do you feel about the EU? Many of us would welcome you here.

DippyAvocado · 12/12/2019 22:35

It's going to be a bad 5 years but I predict Brexit will be proven to be a pile of shit, Johnson won't last five years as leader and the Labour Party will reinvent themselves under a new leader, so hopefully change will come at the next election. As a teacher and parent of school-age children though, I can't believe we have to suffer another 5 years of Conservative education policy when schools have already been almost run into the ground.

Disillusioneddaisy · 12/12/2019 22:36
