This exit poll is just...no words.

It’s a fucking tragedy that Corbyn didn’t fall on his sword and make way for somebody who could have won it.

Wow - clearly a lot of people may have said they were voting Labour or voting tactically but, when push came to shove, they couldn't bear to vote for Corbyn. He can't possibly stay now. John McDonnell looks absolutely poleaxed on BBC now.

I think the sad fact is the majority of people who go out to vote are Tory voters. I'd imagine the vast majority of people who didn't vote wouldn't have voted Conservative.

The exit polls aren’t always right but it looks like a landslide win for Boris and so even if a few constituency are inaccurate it’s likely to ring true. If it was close there would still be hope but unfortunately I don’t think there’s much chance of them being that wrong.
