Second person Killed as been named a few minutes ago. Her name is Saskia Jones and she was only 23 with her whole life ahead of her. Poor, poor girl.

Apparently she was passionate about helping ex offenders and victims and was about to join the police service.

Horribly tragically ironic this happened at a 'rehabilitation of offenders' session.

How do the govt propose to rehabilitate instead of simply releasing dangerous criminals.

Whether it takes 30 years to rehabilitate or 6, its tue rehabilitation that matters, nothing else.

Once a person's brain development is significantly altered it can be permanent, and so therefore so should incarceration be.

The success rate of rehabilitation of DA perpetrators is extremely low, so either programmes don't work, or its not possible to rehab them and incarceration has to be permanent to keep the public, particularly female members and DC of their family safe and alive to live their lives. They deserve that, the offenders don't not all the while they pose a risk.

There are those taking huge govt funding to make poor decisions time and again.

It makes me sick that somebody can stoop so low as to murder people who were committed to helping those in prison. They dedicated their careers to helping others and this is how they get treated. Sadly it doesn't surprise me as I know that abuse of people in the caring professions is rife but it doesn't make it any less appalling.
RIP Jack and Saskia.
