My dd said she a boy called Que in her class. Turned out to be Hugh.

Well my eldest had two friends in preschool he called Angry Boy and Pants.
He and Angry Boy used to like playing together and bellowing at eachother.
He and Pants used to like sneaking up behind eachother and telling "Pants!"
Pants actual name was George. Took me ages to not think "Pants!" whenever I saw him.

But, what was Angry Boy's real name? I need to know.

Update on my daughters friend dragonmeat, he is actually called jagjit!!! She pointed him out this morning and so I went and asked his mom!!

This reminds me of the knife-edge I was on when we first moved here.

DS1 was invited to a birthday party. I was trying to write the birthday card for the girl in question, now, our local accent makes 'Laura' and 'Lara' sound exactly the same, and I kept asking poor DS1 if her name was Laura or Lara and he had no idea!

It was Laura.

Aww @Zaphodsotherhead I would just have written “love from tiny Zaphod” on the card and “birthday girl” on the envelope and wrapped it along with the parcel to hide my embarrassment lol.
