I lived in a house once that had a ceiling made of cork tiles.

I had a dream which I went to a very high-up window to prevent a baby monkey from crawling out of it. As I lifted the baby monkey back from the window, he fell apart in my hands; it was at this point I woke up to find myself standing in front of my shelves, having just dropped a bundle of clothes on the floor.

I have a recurring dream about buying a house/flat and discovering a very unsuitable room attached to it. Once it was an empty toys’r’us storage room full of rats, another time I bought a house only to discover that there is an extra room in the attic and DC’s violin teacher is living there with his family. Sometimes there is a room with a tube station or a river flowing through it.
