Anyone watching the Jade Goody doc

I’m loving watching this. God love jade. So sad her life was tragically short. It’s such a blast from the past. Anyone else watching?

I also vaguely remember there was a bit of misdiagnosis leading up to finding the abnormal cells that last time, I think it was due to her having a miscarriage then the doctors saying that when she had further bleeding it was another miscarriage. I am fairly sure she had tests not long before becoming more seriously ill that gave her the all clear.

She had a sex tape released by an ex iirc but the pringles incident was an i-cloud leak where allegedly (I am not going to look for it) a photo of her boyfriend munching crisps out of her fanny (pringles balanced on her vulva/inner labia? why? what? why? still not going to look although it might be worse in my head as I can only think of salt or crumbs in me bits and as for the tube...)
Danielle refused to be embarrassed as her cloud should have been kept private.

I was a huge Big Brother fan back in the day, and it was wonderful to see the old footage of Jade during her first stint in the house. We forget how massive the show was back then.

I never did like Jade that much though. Her behaviour was questionable from the very off, I think people forget she was a bully towards Sophie way, way before Shilpagate.

God Jades mum’s voice is rough as hell, all that heroin and smoking crack has most likely done that to her, plus smoking joints and cigarettes no doubt.

To the pp that asked why SS hadn’t taken Jade in and esp after her mum thumped her, well I thought Jackie had said that Jade just came home from work and then whacked her last crack pipe from the table, so I assume that she was 16 or older if she was working, plus not all kids get taken into care when their parents are on drugs, I was involved with the SS once and my SW told me that some parents were addicted to drugs but functioning enough to be parents, as in their kids are fed, watered, clean and happy-ish, so asides from that punch then maybe Jade was okay, or she had other family around her? She looked well fed and well dressed from her videos and pictures of when she was young so maybe her parents’ addiction didn’t affect her enough that the school noticed anything? Hmm I have only watched half of the first episode right enough but it’s just a guess.

I haven't watched the documentary but used to love BB back in the day and saw Jade's antics with the wine bottle and her besottedness over the wretched 'PJ'. I hope he squirms when he remembers how nasty he was and part in it all.

There's so much hypocrisy on this thread. There are 'mean girls' who gang up on lots of threads and they get away with it because this is just a chatboard and nobody's really going to dole out any consequences. I'd also wager that the 'girls' here are not of Jade Goody's age group but are significantly older and a bit bored/dissatisfied to behaving that way is just distraction.

I didn't like Shilpa Shetty's conduct much either, it takes a particular sort of person to keep on and on about the transgression once there's been an apology.

We have such a horrible media presence in the UK and a clamouring public which just demands more and more. Anything as long as it's not them in the firing line; and they're the types to carry on braying about it even though they're indirectly responsible for the shitty 'journos' that we have now. Like orchestra conductors they planned and facilitating the whole screeching debacle.

As for 'disrespecting the dead', the dead don't care. They would have though, when they were alive. Where was the respect then? Nowhere. Honour people when they're alive, that's when it actually counts.
