Can we have a Star Trek thread?

Been binge watching DS9 mostly. I love Star Trek, but some things make me wonder.,

Considering they must have had long shifts, I wonder what breaks they got.

And how could they actually breed with other species. Was that actually ever explained?

Anyone got a favourite/worst species?

My worst is the Skreea (sp?) from a DS9 ep. So ungrateful and wanted to claim Bajor as their own. Although there are other god awful species too.

I preferred Susanna Thompson playing the Borg Queen, rather than Alice Crige. Thompson also played a different character in my favourite DS9 episode - 'Rejoined'.

Ensign Sato got on my nerves, but I liked the Doctor.

Best pilot?

Paris, Sulu, Mayweather, LeForge or Crusher Jr?

I'm going with Tom Paris.

TNG is my favourite series of Star Trek and Data my all time favourite character (fully functional!), closely followed by Captain Picard. That voice!!!
My DH is not into sci fi at all so has never watched any of the Trek series but....he sometimes walks in a similar (sideways) fashion to Commander Reiker. He has no idea. Grin

Reviving the thread because Rene Auberjonois who played Odo in DS9 has died. Arron Eisenberg who played Nog, died back in September.

I wasnt fond of Odo at first but he grew on me. Nog was good too.

We are all big fans here. We went to Destination Star Trek at the NEC in October. My husband got autographs with Brent Spiner, LeVar Burton, George Takei and Anthony Rapp, and they were all sooo lovely.

Patrick Stewart did a talk and promoted Picard. The noise when he walked on stage!!

TNG was always my favourite, very much looking forward to Picard.

Awww I read about it today to so sad. So my growing up watching DS9.

I enjoy watching Young Sheldon as its has 'the grand negus' in it, in the form of Wallace Shawn.
