Threw a bucket of water over the patio as need to put another line of clothes out.

After that I'm getting the frozon hot water bottle out the fridge and going to lie down.

22 here according to fairies. Reality obviously higher. Horrible.

WHERES MY AUTUMN!

You'd all be proud of me I didn't snap once today at people complaining about it not being hot enough. What do people expect????

Your autumn is here. Come and collect it, please I've got the heating on and I'm already fed up as I'm guessing my summer won't arrive now.

We had autumny (that's not a word I know) but suddenly the weathers gone mad and it's hot again.

This weekends meant to be 25.

It's currently 25 (actual temp) fairies say 20!

Autumnal! That's the word I meant!!

I felt positively ill last weekend, sweltering in the heat. Hideous. Just when it was starting to get better!

Sorry for people still suffering 😞 This is actually my favourite time of the year and I love it when the sun is low and there s a chill in the air,nights aren't hot. Just had lunch at a pub and sat outside in the sun.

I am a confirmed summer hater but I don't think this time of year is too bad even when it's mid twenties out - the air is just fresher in September and the nights are much cooler.

If we had cooler air and nights I'd agree but ours are hot again. Yes the sun goes down earlier and is up later but it's still very hot outside. It's currently 20c inside and outside there's no air circulating at all and it feels boiling and humid.

Yuck.

Of course different parts of the U.K. Have different weather!

I'm in London, it still feels quite cool at night to me here. 21c in my bedroom at the moment, and it was pushing 35c back in July - gross!

Going shopping/getting meds today was awful as everywhere has their heating on because "it's September" I know it's a revolutionary concept but why not put the heating on WHEN ITS COLD?!

In shocked that places/people have put their heating on! Why on earth?! It's hardly cold. Maybe put another layer on for goodness sake.

I am still in dress and sandals ffs. It hasn't gone below 20c for months .

Last Autumn and winter I needed my coat for one week only.
Xmas day it was something like 14c here !
I want my Autumn's back ! I want my winter's back to !

Forecast to bw 20c here today again..in the sun it's always hotter than that though. It's nearly October 😬

First day of Autumn today.
Not even close.

Yesterday was grey and cloudy but still was well into the 20s late afternoon.

Today blazing sun.

Flat over 20c again.

My car said 13 degrees just now but it s really humid and sweaty and everyone is still on sandals and summer gear.

No sun,just murky. I have all my doors and windows open.

We have rain but it's still horribly humid and nasty.

Where are people that they are saying it's humid? I'm in London and I think it's pretty breezy today. Not cold, I grant you, but not hot by any stretch of the imagination.

Has Autumn misread the calendar?
