Threw a bucket of water over the patio as need to put another line of clothes out.

After that I'm getting the frozon hot water bottle out the fridge and going to lie down.

MrsP I'm very much someone who feels the cold. Because the Tube is always an oven, in winter, I don't do layers but do have a massively coat that's basically a wearable duvet Grin

so I would def have noticed a decent temp change but once again, I think they got it wrong. It's obviously not the hell it was at the weekend but I don't think it's 22 either. 25 maybe?

I am so looking forward to earlier sunset - the equinox will be a good day!!

This year, I did post somewhere about trying to get a permanent cover for the balcony window. Next year I'm going to have to sod the expense, including any making good expense that might be demanded by the management company when I move, and get something really solid like a sail shade, affixed by bolts into the concrete if need be.

Last year, I had to stick material to the outside windows every day, because the velcro I used to attach simply melted and fell off in the heat.

oh and mega hay fever today - I had stopped taking the pills but perhaps now have to take them March - November?

Orchidflower1 · 31/08/2019 14:22

Did anyone see that someone started a thread about wearing black opaque tights????!!!!!
Just the thought makes me sweat!! I did respond on the thread!!

Becca19962014 · 31/08/2019 14:24

Still too warm here for a coat. I went out in summer jacket this morning but was boiling hot.

Still hot inside.

MrsPellegrinoPetrichor · 31/08/2019 20:16

Tights?! I wear sandals until at least October ffs!

Very very autumnal here ,really lovely. I wore a cardi today.

MrsPellegrinoPetrichor · 31/08/2019 20:17

I don't usually have hay fever at this time of year but the last couple of days have been awful and I've had really itchy eyes.

Becca19962014 · 10/09/2019 13:02

Why is it fucking 20c.
It's 10th September, I should not be walking out of a fucking appointment into hot unrelenting sunshine.
How dare the weather trick me with lovely nice looking autumnal weather and then fucking do this.

And for anyone wondering

NO I AM NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO THE LOVELY HOT WEATHER COMING THIS WAY AT THE FUCKING WEEKEND. THE SUMMER NEEDS TO FUCK THE FUCK OFF.

I ill and frightened right now and I do not need revenge of the summer from fucking hell part fucking three thank you very much.

Becca19962014 · 10/09/2019 13:05

I may very well be totally fucking irrational and a lunatic but I DO NOT CARE.

My appointment this morning I was told the weather is now "freezing" so no excuses for not getting out and doing more. When I said about today and forecast for the weekend here (mid twenties for fucks sake) I was told to "chill".

Chill. Of all the fucking words to use.

At which point I cried.

Im so grateful for all of you being here, but why, can't people involved with my "care" understand like you do??

Angry
MrsPellegrinoPetrichor · 10/09/2019 13:12

I got in the care at 9am and it was 10 degrees!!

Not 20 here, more like 16 with a definite chill in the air. Hope it cools down soon for you Becca.

Becca19962014 · 10/09/2019 14:41

Yes please!!

Bloody weather.

It was supposed to be a lovely maximum of 16 today.

CookPassBabtridge · 13/09/2019 18:02

Well the first week of September was amazing with its coolness and rain, I got in autumn mode with my big boots and rain mac. Loving it. But what is this sunshine summery shit now Angry

Becca19962014 · 13/09/2019 18:53

Quite.
My thoughts exactly.

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 13/09/2019 19:23

It's been bloody awful today. Got a heat headache and by 4pm was wiped out on the sofa with ibuprofen and paracetamolAngry

Just when I was thinking the worst was over!!

I'd have liked it to be cooler this weekend as we're moving ds to uni tomorrow. We're all packed thank God. We're staying over as it's a long drive so we might be able to squeeze in a walk on the beach as we won't be far from the coast. At least the nights are cool at this time of year!

We will need a new thread called 'Hooray it's Autumn' soonGrin

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 13/09/2019 19:48

Last year wasn't over yet. We seemed to miss Autumn altogether last year. Christmas wasn't even that cold.

Emmabryant123 · 15/09/2019 11:49

Ffs .
We still haven't gone below 20c yet :(

Becca19962014 · 15/09/2019 11:59
