I can't imagine my children (8 &14) having time to get bored on this holiday and us parents will get some well deserved relaxing time too! There are the familiar activities like spending time by the pool or going on a lovely bike ride exploring the surrounding area. When it is time for some unforgettable family adventures, the wakeboarding, scuba diving or even windsurfing lessons will be perfect!
When we finally decide to have a more relaxed day, the children can make new friends by joining the childcare club activities, while the parents make use of the spa facilities. All this can be rounded off by an evening of entertainment or a romantic dinner for two. Before finally going to sleep in our family room, dreaming of playing a game of water polo or tennis with family and new found friends.

For us, swimming, sailing and sunning ourselves would be key 😍 taking our little one to the ionion to see where we met would be so lovely!

MerlinsBeard87 · 06/03/2019 21:56

It would be cycling for us, and plenty of swimming and sandcastles for the kids

This resort looks amazing! So many activities to choose from!

We're all into cycling so would enjoy the mountain biking.

The DC would spend most of their time in the pool and would love to try some water sports like kayaking or sailing. Hopefully DP would take them to do that so I could laze by the pool 💅🏻🍹☀️

Katandmouse · 06/03/2019 21:59

Wow- this resort looks fantastic and we would so love to try it out as a family. Having been to a couple of the beautiful Greek islands I’ve longed to go to the mainland for years- we’d definitely be going out and experiencing the local culture and Greek food, combined with some relaxation and fun-filled days at the resort itself- lots of time in the pool and on the beach with our DS7 and DS5, DH and I would love to try out scuba diving while the boys try out the kids club 😁, and we’d all love to try wakeboarding and kayaking. After a tough start to the year, this holiday would be an absolutely perfect tonic! A dream holiday.

LakeFlyPie · 06/03/2019 22:00

A lovely looking resort with the perfect combination of hilly olive groves and turquoise sea. Ample opportunity to spend time as a family cycling, swimming and kayaking and also giving DC the chance to try new sports and have some independence making friends in kids club. I'd try SUP, something I've been hoping to do for a few years Smile

Loopy9 · 06/03/2019 22:01

My family and I would love the pools as well as trying paddle boarding and kayaking. My two would like the 10-13 kids club and maybe it would mean I could get to the gym whilst my OH does some cycling. Sounds fabulous!

Bridgeofpies · 06/03/2019 22:01

It looks fabulous!! Funnily enough I was wondering just today if we ought to try a Mark Warner-type holiday. We would spend a fair amount of time in the pools - DD1 becomes essentially semi-aquatic when we go on holiday! We aren’t really going to be lying on sun loungers since we like to be busy - and the kids are small so not much chance of that anyway!

DH is a pretty accomplished dinghy sailor (or was in his youth) so he would definitely get out on a cat while I have always wanted to try Paddleboarding! It sounds like it’s perfect for that there! It would be fun to take the kids kayaking too!

DH is also a keen cyclist while I like classes so we might even try some land based activities.

Plus, I would hope, there would be rather a lot of sipping cool drinks and watching the sunset in the evening!!

MiniMileyMoo · 06/03/2019 22:03

Looks amazing! My boys (3&6) haven't yet had a proper hot weather, beach holiday so would absolutely love to take them here! We'd be on the pool, on the beach and my bigger boy and husband are fearless so would love to try out the watersports!

Wellhellojonsnow · 06/03/2019 22:05

Oooh I’ve already got your brochure and am finding it difficult to choose between resorts. This latest addition looks amazing!

If we were to win there’s so much we would do! My husband is annoyingly good at waterskiing so I’m sure he’d do that, as well as both road and mountain biking. I would relax a bit more (we’ve just moved and I’m studying a masters so life’s quite hectic at the mo!) with an odd fitness class and run. There are also some great things we could do together like kayaking, SUP and tennis (hopefully the latter wouldn’t lead to too much of a competition Grin).

The children love making new friends and would really enjoy the childcare sessions & they’d get the opportunity to try new sports. Hopefully they’ll discover one to continue on with at home. Finally we love a bit of evening entertainment and I don’t mind a bit of audience participation or a quiz! Smile

One thing that you offer which is a big attraction, alongside the variety of activities and great childcare is healthy and tasty catering. This is really important to us as a family as what we eat really affects how we feel. Decent food gives us lots of energy to keep active!

Overall your holidays are amazing and we would love to win!

Shangrilalala · 06/03/2019 22:05

Really like the idea that older teens are catered for - most holiday companies don’t tend to be too concerned with the needs of
17 year olds. Accommodation looks very family friendly too. Like the idea of going out to the nearby town on uncatered evenings as this would allow a true feel of the local area. In all, seems like the perfect mix for us, balancing relaxation with the needs of the younger members of the family.

oreodough · 06/03/2019 22:13

Wow! We'd be making use of the childcare, and when we were we would be relaxing by the pool or trying some water sports.
The kids would love the biking activities but would need encouragement to get out of the water

SheriffCallie · 06/03/2019 22:18

I’d never heard of MW holidays but, having had a little browse, I am really impressed with all the resort has to offer. It looks perfect for our family, lots of water time for our two kids to practice their swimming technique, activities for a sporty husband, and spa for me to relax after a busy year in work. Have stayed in mainland Greece before, and loved the scenery and food, so would love to win this trip so we could see more of it.

sissyinthesummertime · 06/03/2019 22:20

Oh My Goodness. This place looks fabulous. I love that you get so many days half board, with some free to go and check out the local food and culture. Fantastic idea.

I can't say we'd get up to much besides eating, drinking, relaxing by the pool and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

Lindy2 · 06/03/2019 22:27

It looks lovely.
My children love the water so we would be swimming, snorkelling, beach combing and jumping in a lot of the time.
We also love getting out and exploring local villages.
I'm sure there would also be lots of eating and drinking - the Greek food is too good not to!

LunaLovesgood · 06/03/2019 22:27

DH and I got married in Greece on our first and last family holiday. It would be amazing to go back and have some quality time with DD. Literally just pottering around the pool and eating far too much Grin

Perihelion · 06/03/2019 22:38

Watersports, especially trying scuba diving for DD and us refreshing our skills......and maybe a wee bit of lounging around at the beach side bar.

LightsCameraAction · 06/03/2019 22:45

Fly, arrive, dump bags! Swim or relax, wine and dine.
Morning stretches, breakfast, check out Kidz Club, plan or go with the flow!
SUP or kayak - think we'll take both to explore the crystal bay.
Ice cream next - that's three for us and our son.
Dare we do the beginners dinghy course after the briefing? Yes! We need to grasp our dreams and plot a steady course before the evening sun goes down.
Laugh with new found friends tonight as we recount our adventures of the day. "We saw you dash across the bay in the cat! We were the ones learning the ropes!"
Tennis next as we need to get back in the swing of things.
Let's cycle to Paleros for lunch today. Through the olive groves we can wend our way.
Aqua aerobics in the pool, walk along the bay.
Reading on a lounger, planning the next day.
After beginning his Open Water course in Lemnos, give our son the opportunity to dive again. And of course we'd join and refresh our skills too.
Windsurfing next, but I'm pretty sure I'll fall in again . . . and again . . . and again!!
Cocktails before dinner and catch up with our firm friends we feel like we've known forever.
Finally the week will come to a close. Do we have to leave? Please can we stay?
Thank you Mark Warner for beautiful family memories as we learn, laugh and play together.

Swanlaker · 06/03/2019 22:47

How we would love this!
My husband and I would sit in the afternoon sun and watch my two (not so little) little ones learn to sail, as I did at their age. We'd watch them laugh with the wind in their hair. I may even dabble again myself and drag hubby in too.
In the evenings we would stuff ourselves silly, talk to each other, laugh even more and then sleep like kings. Dreamy.

mumofbeagles · 06/03/2019 22:55

We have a two year old. So it would be pool side fun lots of swimming and walks... possibly a couple of g&ts

buize · 06/03/2019 22:58

We would do a lot of the water sports activities. Especially sailing and SUP. I’d use the opportunity to be a more confident cyclist.

We love the sun so they’ll be a lot of lounging around by the pool too!

meep · 06/03/2019 23:05

Pool for the kids.....Greek salad for lunch.....mousakka and rose wine for dinner. Maybe a bit of sailing in between relaxing in the sun. It looks heavenly.

Katastrophy · 06/03/2019 23:08

The resort looks great. I'd like to think DD and I would be up for wakeboarding and some cycling while my lovely Dad would attempt to consume every olive in Greece. However, I think the reality would be us all lazing by the pool with our Kindles and plenty of snacks.

Bouchie · 06/03/2019 23:10

looks amazing. My kids love water activities but it's always horrible and freezing where we are. We would love to sail, paddleboard and swim. Also love the morning stretches as a way to start the day. My husband and I love Greek food and the half board looks fantastic

What an amazing holiday it would be.

KennDodd · 06/03/2019 23:12

I want to go, pick me! pick me!

Family of five though, which one shall I leave behind? Worth it though. Maybe I could go just by myself, I can eat for four and sport for four. I'd get a big floating inflatable armchair thing and just float around in that all week. Lovely!
