After one hell a bad year it would just be lovely to be altogether without the pressures of home.
If Dh is back to full fitness he would love the cycling as would ds. Dd would try the watersports as long as it didn't ruin her makeup and hair
I would be totally content just watching them be happy and reading a good book.

NerrSnerr · 06/03/2019 20:27

We would spend a lot of time at the pool, the beach and the breakfast buffet. My daughter would also love to try water sports.

Drogonssmile · 06/03/2019 20:29

It looks upmarket and relaxing! I love the range of childcare facilities and the balance of relaxing/sporty activities available. Something to suit all four of us in my family 😊 I also like that isn't a huge trek from the airport; something I always check for.

The two DSs and DH are all keen cyclists so they would have an amazing time on the mountain bikes.

lolliplop · 06/03/2019 20:38

So much to do here! I've tried windsurfing before but not for years and would love to try again and for my sons to try it too. And then a bit of sunbathing r&r to recuperate after many sea tumbles! This would be amazing, thanks for the chance :)

noenergy · 06/03/2019 20:45

I haven't been to Greece before so that would be something new in terms of food and culture.

The pool looks amazing and the kids would love cycling. DH and eldest DD would love to try out all the watersports while I relax by the beach.

TheFrogsLegs · 06/03/2019 20:47

This looks amazing!

I would spend a lot of time by the pool kindle in hand, possibly hire a bike to explore and enjoy the gorgeous location.

imnottoofussed · 06/03/2019 20:51

Well I would be trying to convince teen dd into joining me in some physical activities like cycling or canoeing. She would be reading under a sun umbrella. I'd also be relaxing, eating, drinking and generally unwinding and enjoying surroundings.

MrsRudyRudpoo · 06/03/2019 20:51

What a beautiful resort! My family would love it here, what a stunning place to spend time together and learn something new - we would love to try watersports!

Itis6oclocksomewhere · 06/03/2019 20:57

That's what I call a holiday!!

It looks perfect for us as a family. My husband loves sailing and would be keen to spend time with our daughters on the water.
I can see all of us doing some kayaking and water skiing, in fact I think we'd be doing all of the activities! Our girls would love the variety of water sports available to try.

Not forgetting everything else though. Tennis, biking and volleyball for us to do. Not sure when we'd find the time to fit in the kids clubs and spa, but I'm sure we'll give it a go!

The resort sounds fantastic and it sounds like there are a variety of bars and restaurants to keep us well fed and watered.
As a family we've never been to Greece, but it's on our places to go list. The scenery that's described would be a perfect backdrop to a fun yet relaxed family holiday.

Tigger83 · 06/03/2019 21:02

This looks amazing and would be perfect for my husband, son and I!

Where to begin..... on arrival we would head to the room to dump our stuff and then head down for a walk through the gardens and grab a gorgeous drink by the pool to start our relaxing holiday. My husband would take our little boy for a swim, at 11months he loves his swimming lessons and would love nothing more than to splash about in the warmth of a Greek holiday pool! I'd relax by the pool with my book for half an hour and have a doze as ds doesn't like sleeping I need to steel every opportunity to shut my eyes.

We'd then go for a walk into the town to get a traditional Greek lunch with all the olives and feta for me before strolling back to the hotel.

We'd spend the rest of the week enjoying true family time on the beach and in the resort. Teaching our ds to make sandcastles and paddling in the crystal clear warm sea.

For a few hours though dh and I would make use of the toddler club so we could use the spa.....bliss! It would be amazing to go around September for our first wedding anniversary so we could perhaps go for a meal out too knowing our ds would be looked after by the baby sitting service.

The rest of the time we'd enjoy our meals as a family encouraging our ds epic appetite and love of food in the amazing looking restaurants.

I can but dream (if ds would allow me to sleep!) that we could win such a wonderful prize.....

SellFridges · 06/03/2019 21:03

I think what would be wonderful about this holiday is the opportunity to do things together and separately. I’d be lounging. DH would be playing tennis. DD would be trying out a watersport and DS would be learning to swim. And we’d all be enjoying meals together, cycling together and discovering the resort together.

LonelyandTiredandLow · 06/03/2019 21:10

Another single mum and I would love to do this holiday as a family - 2 adults and our 2 girls! A holiday with a kids club is a luxury, especially when we could learn windsurfing or do a guided bike tour while the girls are entertained! The resort looks wonderfully relaxing and active in equal measure. I'm confident us mum's would win the big race at the end of the week (throws down gauntlet) Grin.

AdmiralJaneway · 06/03/2019 21:11

That looks simply amazing. I took my daughter (7) to Greece for the first time last year and she’s very keen to go back! This would be perfect with the sea to play in and the pool to splash in!

I’m quite sure I’d be lazing by the pool while she’d be swimming like the mermaid she likes to pretend she is!

foobio · 06/03/2019 21:17

We loved your old Paleros resort back when we were child free, so we'd love to try out the new one and introduce it to our girls! I love the cycling, my husband will be on the tennis court, and I hope the girls will love sailing as much as we do!

babygoatsmummy · 06/03/2019 21:19

Yep, this would be a total funfest. Two very different kids, one would be adventuring, the other relaxing. I'm sure I would make good use of the Kids Clubs and enjoy a few relaxing cocktails by the pool.........guilt free, they will be having a fun filled time after all. Wink

Muddlingalongalone · 06/03/2019 21:26

Resort looks amazing - we would spend a lot of time by the pool & on the beach.
As a single parent I may be forced to take advantage of the childcare to enjoy a leisurely hour alone on a sunbed with a book & a cocktail😀
The buffet would be awesome as it would give my children who have totally different tastes a great chance to always get something they like but to try new things.
Finally flying from LHR would just be the icing on the cake as holiday flights are so often from Gatwick, Luton & Stansted and we're 3 miles from Heathrow!

tobermoryisthebestwomble · 06/03/2019 21:30

Looks lovely, I've not done Greece with children but would definitely consider, as I think weather is fab and is a good choice if you have a resort with good facilities and also access to local culture. I would participate in sunning myself and enjoying the food, plus walks and cycling. Dh would likely try something more adventurous like water-skiing. Honestly, teenage dcs would enjoy the free WiFi 😁

VioletPickles · 06/03/2019 21:34

It looks amazing! Having not had a sunny holiday for years I think we would enjoy sitting by the pool, taking in the atmosphere and enjoying the heat. My partner and children can’t sit still for very long so would definitely be in the gym, playing tennis or excelling at some water sports. I might get a chance to finish a novel or two!

MrsMoggs · 06/03/2019 21:36

Ohhh, that's such a beautiful bit of Greece. As a single parent I'd love to take my children so they could have a great time making new friends and trying out exciting activities while I enjoyed precious moments slumped in a heap by the pool with a good book, able to relax completely, rather than being family lifeguard/factotum.

BotherationBuggeration · 06/03/2019 21:43

Oh wow 😍
We love Greece, and love watersports. We’d want to do everything! I dive and would love to learn to sail, my partner sails but would love to learn to dive, and the kids are waterbabies who would want to do everything they could. A quiet drink with my man while the kids were being entertained elsewhere would be a very welcome treat too.

BeardofZeus · 06/03/2019 21:44

I love Greece! We would go for our first fmily holiday with DD who will be 1 in July. We can make use of the baby club to go and do some adult things like snooze on sunbeds and swim in a pool (with and without baby - we aren’t going to swimming lessons for nothing!). Watersports yes, buffet yes, cycling yes... ouzo yes?! Fingers crossed - as I am sure many people have as reasons here, mat leave is not full of holidays like pre children Grin

starlingsintheslipstream · 06/03/2019 21:47

What a great prize!

We would be keen to swim, mountain bike and generally relax in the bars and restaurants.

ChodeofChodeHall · 06/03/2019 21:48

I would be eating at much fresh grilled fish at possible in Paleros town. And stroking the Greek cats.

boptanana · 06/03/2019 21:52

Wow what an amazing looking resort! We would love to try lots of activities on offer, as well as having some relaxing time in the beach. My kids would love to make friends at the kids club, and I have always wanted to learn to sail. As a first holiday abroad I don’t think this could be beaten, I’ll keep my fingers crossed!
