Couldn't see a current thread so thought I'd start one as I like reading these and getting ideas.

Today I've had:
B - half a pot of collective dairy raspberry yogurt and a coffee
L - 2 hard boiled eggs, some cracker crisp type things and an apple
D - will be a chicken kebab as we forgot to put our planned slow cooker meal on this morning 🤦🏽‍♀️

Snacks - a banana, Nescafé sachet coffee thing and will prob have a hot chocolate later on and maybe a biscuit or two.

OP posts:

Some pick n mix sweets, a cookie and a small bag of pop chips. Not very balanced. 😕 In fairness, we came out of hospital yesterday after a week in NICU with our newborn, so things are all a bit crazy atm as we try to settle in some form of a routine and we haven't had chance to stock the fridge or cupboards up yet.

DH is now busy cooking steaks with garlic butter, paprika potato wedges, asparagus and cherry tomatoes and I can't wait! I've been craving rare steak throughout my whole pregnancy. Now I can finally have one!

SnowDuvetDay · 04/02/2019 18:10

3 x Oreo
1/4 pitta bread

I’m feeling grumpy & can’t be bothered.

Dinner will be a chicken wrap using left over from last nights dinner.

Butterflybelly · 04/02/2019 18:14

I'm following Michael Mosley's new 800 calories a day diet so:

Very small plate of ham, egg & few chips.
2 small satsumas & large Pink Lady apple
Very small chicken & salad wrap

But I've lost 4.5lbs in 5 days so I'm very happy Smile

Bloo22 · 04/02/2019 20:56

Yes! I’ve been really happy with my food today. It’s just been a good day.

B: 3 scrambled eggs with a handful of mushrooms fried in buttered and a bit of soy sauce. Made 3 because toddler always steals mine but today of course he wasn’t interested.

Chocolate digestive at toddler group.

L: 2 pierogi that toddler refused. One “Russian style” and one with sauerkraut and mushrooms. Hot and buttered...shared an apple with the babe.

A few hours later, a sliver of veggie lasagne with a tbsp each of buttered carrots and peas.

Snack...hunk of polish sausage. And a really disappointing satsuma. I like them sour, this was sweet and tasteless.

D: Two pork and red onion sausages, buttered peas, and a recipe from the guardian...”suspiciously delicious cabbage”. Cabbage cooked in butter and cream. With onions, ginger and garlic. Heaven...

Drinks - one coffee with cream, two teas, probably 1.5 litres of water.

Couple of takeaway points here. Damn I eat a lot of butter. No wonder we easily get through half a kilo a week.

I am 11 weeks pregnant and finally have my appetite back. Probably need more raw veg though. Have a big salad packed for work tomorrow so that should do it.

DaedricLordSlayer · 04/02/2019 21:02

5.30am mug of coffee a slice of toast and butter
9.30am cuppa tea and a fag.
1.15pm mature cheddar sandwich, a satsuma, bottle of water
5.45pm spaghetti and meatball pasta, fresh raspberries layered on a fruit scone with clotted cream.
between 6.30pm and now, half a large box of maltesers.

Cockadoodledooo · 04/02/2019 21:04

Microwave porridge about midday (but counts as breakfast as I'd only been awake an hour)
Spaghetti bolognese made with quorn mince for dinner. Followed by a Lidl chocolate waffle.
About 4 pints of Ribena and maybe another litre of water throughout the day.

MrsPear · 04/02/2019 21:05

All sorts tbh - came back from school run and had apple crumble leftovers. Toast with spread and sour jam for lunch - sourdough leftovers from yesterday. Dinner was leftover bolognese, perked up with paprika, with more sourdough toast, cheese, light salad and pickle vegetables. Oh and some crispy potatoes with mayo. I could really do with more 5 a day tbh.

Faster · 04/02/2019 21:09

B - bacon and mushroom sarnie from the staff canteen

L - one of those cheap pasta mug shot things with an apple and an orange
