Has anyone else had this virus

It seems to be making the rounds in my family

Headachy, foggy minded, achy body, dizzy and constantly drained.

You also feel not right but you can’t pin point what exactly is wrong.

Does anyone else have stabbing pains in their head too? The pain takes my breath away momentarily, but I’ve been having them for three days now, so it can’t be anything serious.

I’ve had a bad cough too, but no cold. My ribs hurt so much because of the coughing. I’m totally fed up and the rest of the family have reached their tolerance limit. The only real friend I have is the cat.

Shockers - not me personally but my mum who had the same virus had your symptoms - bad headaches and cough and she rarely gets headaches.

Sadly it takes time for this virus to go away. DB's MIL had this since before Xmas and it has now turned to pneumonia and she was in hospital for 2 days this week. Funny you should say that about the cat - my mum has more symptoms - could be new ones - stomach etc and her cat has been her one real friend!

I hope your DB’s MIL recovers soon- that sounds scary.

I’m actually feeling chirpier today, just still sweating profusely. I’ve had to change the bedding every morning this week.

I’ve just been to the Drs. It’s turned into a chest infection.

I think I have the virus people were talking about in this thread. Had it for 4 weeks now... it started off as what I thought might he a cold, with a scratchy throat and blocked ears but I no longer have cold symptoms just an awful heavy light headed dizzy feeling, weakness and just generally unwell 😪
Has anybody else still got this?xxx

Ahh I'm sorry you're suffering too! I didn't expect anyone to reply, thought perhaps it was more a winter ish virus that was going around when this thread started.
I had a blood test done last Thursday over it. Really fed up by this stage. Pretty sure everyone around me is thinking 'there's no way you can still be ill!' Xx
