My wife is dying

My beautiful, wonderful wife is only 33 and I'm sitting next to her bed in the hospice tonight watching her die. She's had cancer for a long time and I knew this was coming, but it's so very hard to watch.

Hello again, SJ. I felt last night that she had gone, especially when you didn't post in the darkest hours as usual.

It is the shock, carrying you forward at the moment, continuing such loving acts like washing her clothes.

I am thinking of you, your DW, your son, close family and friends, and sending you a very strong hug. I hope that you are supported IRL, but the thread and PMs are here if needed or just wanted. Equally, don't feel any pressure to post at all.

You did your beloved proud, SJ, when she needed you most. She felt herself beloved on the Earth, in life and in her passing. I am very sorry for your loss.
