For anyone who's staying in on NYE... shall we make our own party?

There was a thread last year with a virtual NYE party and I can't see one at the moment so I thought I'd start one. I am bringing Matchmakers (mint) and shed loads of Heroes. Who else?

Also co sleeping and breast feeding! Am sure I won't make midnight but I can bring homemade choc truffles, sausage rolls and tesco finest custard, oh and hagen dazz caramel brownie ice cream! Baby can bring cheeky smile! Husband won't be home til 9pm and is working again tomorrow so it will be quiet one tonight, so virtual party will be fun!

I was just thinking of doing exactly the same and I saw this thread.

First year since I was about 14 that I haven't done something.

To the party I have brought music, red wine, flowers and pizza. Oh and my fur baby for great company.

There's been some big ups and big downs this year. Looking forward to welcoming 2019.

Feeling very thoughtful and reflectful. anyone else feel a bit emotional? or am I just being soppy Blush

Yay, I came on to start one and here it is Grin

I have red wine, rose, disaronno, cointreau, doritos, crisps, a few chocolates (sorry, I already started!) and a pizza in the fridge.

Also tissues and a shoulder to cry on plus free hugs if needed in the spirit of #joinin

Our Chinese is being delivered at 7pm so I'll bring that. We definitely won't make it to midnight (DD is a 6am early bird) but we'll probably be woken up briefly by fireworks at midnight.

My dog will happily give great cuddles too but he does tend to fall asleep not long after 8pm.

I'm in! I've got cheese and biscuits, paté, salami, chocolates and prosecco.

DS is here but he will be in bed by 8 then it's me and my blanket and TV.

Good cos the fucking sound has gone on the fucking tv. All the cables are plugged in just no sound. NYE of all evenings!

Can I join? DS is with his dad & the DD's are out with their friends.

I've got shed loads of ice & frozen lemon, lime & orange slices for the drinks.

I have rose & white wine. Food wise I have salt & vinegar twists, 3 boxes of lindor (orange, coconut & original red ones) & all the curly wurlies from the kids selection boxes as they don't like them & I love them.

Will probably watch The Killing on prime or get into an argument with Alexa for being an eejit & not understanding my Scottish accent during song quiz Blush

Fuck, yes, I'm in. Have had a SHITTY few days - don't ask, too long and don't want to bring things down, but I'm one glass of mead down, DH is cooking turkey curry, and the DCs are playing upstairs (mostly) - Trevor Noah on the telly, and apparently it's 666 days until the next American election - and Elizabeth Warren is running, so it's all good.

Don't ask but I'm struggling with a shit feeling about something I 'wanted' to happen this year which didn't. Well, not 'wanted' exactly but maybe it'd have been for the best so I feel like an evil cow for that.
