For anyone who's staying in on NYE... shall we make our own party?

There was a thread last year with a virtual NYE party and I can't see one at the moment so I thought I'd start one. I am bringing Matchmakers (mint) and shed loads of Heroes. Who else?

AIBU to be smug that most of the country will be waking up to how I've felt every bloody day since becoming pregnant?!

I'm back from B & Q and just having another cup of coffee before I go to the allotment and continue laying some new paths.

I stayed up too late just for the sake of it and feel like shit. Family doing my nut in.

I've got 2/3 DCs home now, DC1 is revising, DC2 and I are chilling out and about to have a go with and xmas present of a small indoor quadcopter thing with sensors so you can guide it with your hands.

The instructions say to use indoors only in a room with no tables and chairs, of course we all have one of those in our house don't we?

Candace I think Yawning's party was much superior: you could arrive and leave when you wanted, you could wear, eat, drink and listen to whatever music you wanted. You didn't need to talk all the time and there were no idiots screaming 'I bloody lubs you' in your ear and no worry about transport and how much it cost you. A vast improvement upon the regular NYEs imo. Also it must have been a good party as we are still all talking about it and nobody flounced.
