I have bought the beautiful notebook.
I have fineliners
I have searched Pinterest.

I have many ideas for things I want to track etc but

I am scared to start.

I am not artistic.
It is the most expensive notebook I have ever bought and I really don't want to spoil it Blush

ILoveChristmasLights - I thought I'd love the A5 Hobonichi, but I don't.

ILoveChristmasLights · 18/01/2019 16:13

Hohocabbage. Yep. £72 for the Tecno Cousin (A5 annual version). It’s expensive paper & from Japan...so... I’d love to know how much they are in Japan. I LOVE the options they have there. The Muji options are amazing. Fabulous quality paper and so many variations. It’s weird though, they’re printed in English, but I can’t find them outside of Japan 😖

Prok I’ve been tempted to hide and stay in one overnight 😂

Knit I read what you said as to why you didn’t like it, but I don’t think I’d mind those things. I tried eBay to see if I could get a previous years cheap to see what I thought about it. I think layout wise, I want what’s already there, plus a LOT (like 150?) note pages at the end. I love the fact it’s so light for what’s in it, but I kind of want more freedom as well. I want B5 to use, but A5 to fit in my bag. I want 100gm paper but want it to be light. Essentially, as with all things in my life...I want something virtually impossible to find. Sigh.

If anyone is interested in going the filofax as bullet journal route whsmith have some offers on at the moment.

Just got myself a clipbook for £11 and planning on moving to a proper filofax if I get into the bujo thing.

GoofyIsACow · 19/01/2019 13:40

Mine is brilliant so far, i’ve done all my initial set up and made lot’s of lists which used to just linger on random pieces of paper that got lost. I feel like i’ve dumped my mind onto paper and i feel miles better!

GoofyIsACow · 19/01/2019 13:41

I’m also helping to plan a friend’s big party in summer so i’ve done a beautiful page for that, it’s making me stupidly happy! Blush

What do you think of the pens?

The ‘Brain Dump’ really helps me. I ‘think’ best when writing things down, making notes, scribbling. Making lists, planning and re-planning.

MinorProphet · 19/01/2019 15:45

I must say I am LOVING the filofax. I want a new section, I get a new section. I have lots of blank paper so I can do bujo style stuff as well as preprinted calendars as I am lazy. I get annoyed with a section being somewhere, I move it. I tear a page out, I don't feel bad. Loving it.

HumourlessFeminist · 19/01/2019 17:24

I like my Filofax Clipbook too 🙂.

GoofyIsACow · 19/01/2019 20:12

Love the pens! My absolute favourite pen to write with is a BIC Cristal Fine which i bought a box of in the amazon black friday sale! 😂
I have also just purchased these in the sale at WHSmith this afternoon and they are also fabulous for prettying!

Is everyone still BuJoing? Week 3 and I'm still looking at it daily! I have a double spread for each week for Jan, which I've marked up, and added birthdays and appointments too. One thing I have changed is that I know have a PostIt already in place for each week for a shopping list - means I can move it around so the list itself doesn't take up too much space.

I'm also using it as a sort of 'normal' thoughts diary, jotting down things that were said and small things that happened so I can remember them. Possibly not the intention, but I like having everything together.

Hohocabbage · 22/01/2019 11:30

Christmas lights!!!! You’d certainly use it every day at that price! I’m not working today and have organised finances and now off to return a (broken) Christmas item to the shop - having a list in my bujo does seem to motivate me!
I saw one on Pinterest where someone had their menu plan for the week on post its so they could move them in and out. One for a shopping list is a good plan too.

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 22/01/2019 20:10

I have just added a 'DS and his examn years' collection after attending a parents evening on the subjct. He does need extra help in some areas.

Oh and I have just finished the RC book on audible.

HumourlessFeminist · 27/01/2019 17:37

I'm still using my bullet journal, and I'm organised in a way that I've never been organised before.

VeryLittleOwl · 28/01/2019 07:41

Nearly 70 pages into mine (started at the end of September) and I finally have some colour - a page of boxes to colour in as I lose weight this year :)

HundredMileStare · 04/02/2019 19:59

I've been converted to digital bujoing using a combination of goodnotes and procreate with an apple pencil.

I am the type of person to get sucked in by 100000 different pens and washi tapes so it's kinda a blessing to now have everything at my fingertips.

It's completely revolutionised my every day life, I am sooooo much more organised and motivated, I'll never go back to remembering everything in my head!

Prokupatuscrakedatus · 05/02/2019 21:26

I've seen people doing this digitally even including digital washi tape - but this does not work for me - things seen on a screen do not stick in my brain. It has to be paper and pen alongside my google calender.

Slowknitter · 12/02/2019 13:48

Same here, Prokupatus. (Was on upthread but now de-regged in order to curb MN habit before crawling back name changed). I love apps and stuff, but for some reason not for this. It has to be on paper.

Waspnest · 27/02/2019 13:05

If anyone is interested and a skinflint like me Lidl currently have 2 pack books of A5 squared notebooks for £1.99. I like cheap because you don't have the pressure of ruining a pristine £££ notebook and because it's spiral bound you can rip out a page really easily if you need to.

flowersinthebedroom · 27/02/2019 13:13

My bujoing is very minimal, I use a future log and monthly logs.
I have mood / pain / meds / sleep trackers. Housework logs, knitting ideas and diary.

I feel very overwhelmed by all the beautiful art, it put me off doing one for a long time.
