Looking for some inspiration...

Is there something that is relatively inexpensive (£100 max) that has had an good impact on your quality of life?

I have vouchers that need used.

Aerocino (sp) by Nespresso. Froths milk. I love hot frothy milk. Makes a nicer-than-costa cappuccino with frothed milk and decent instant. Love it.

A gadget that does bracelets up, I no longer need a man because I can do up my own bracelets now Grin

TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 26/12/2018 21:43

A bullet journal.

Stuckforthefourthtime · 26/12/2018 21:45

Parlux hairdryer. Halved the time to dry or style my hair in the mornings. Also quite good for hair is a new satin pillow case - your face and hair wake up all unrumpled Smile

Uniqlo thin thermals mean I can wear my nice work clothes without freezing or looking obviously wrapped up

A slow cooker that does rice, as I like rice but am rubbish at making it

Amazon Echo - resisted it for ages, but means I am listening to music again, as for years it felt like too much hassle to make playlists etc. Also good for cooking timers and entertaining small children with terrible jokes

The Hairy Bikers cooking books as they finally got my DH cooking, which has improved my life hugely

Hope that whatever you buy brings you much joy!

Brita water filter that fits in the fridge door. No more than £20ish and seriously increased our water consumption as it tastes so much better. Wouldn’t be without it now.

Decent hairdryer - mine’s a ghd one and makes mornings do much easier

ILoveChristmasLights · 26/12/2018 21:50

Where are the vouchers from?

Amazon?

roastpotatoesrule · 26/12/2018 21:53

nutribullet

A really decent knife. We have the Magic Knife, and it cuts through Swede and meat like they were soft butter. It has stopped me swearing so much while preparing food.

themagicamulet · 26/12/2018 21:57

Electric blanket. I kid you not. Life changing if you live in a chilly old house. DH resisted for years but caved in when we had snow in March this year. Dual controls essential so you can control your own half!

A metal de-frosting dish.
I am rubbish at remembering to get things out to defrost - it does it in about 2 hours! £10 from amazon! Smile
And a hot cup machine instead of a kettle - boils water for tea so quickly!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 26/12/2018 22:00

Kindle - totally improved my life: I was a big reader before but often stuck for something to read in between trips to the library/book shop, but now I always have new books at my fingertips

Really nice pens and notebooks - make even boring writing tasks more pleasurable

MP3 player - this was a present but it's made it much easier to block out annoying people on my commute

A good coat

mum11970 · 26/12/2018 22:00

Air fryer. Couldn’t live without one.

RippleEffects · 26/12/2018 22:03

DH and I changed to two single duvets on our bed, he is a serial cover pincher then gets too hot and throws it off the bed. We had two on holiday and were surprised how well it worked so have done the same at home. I love it, I can control my own temperature now, it's easier to change and iron singles too. Wish we'd done it years ago.

FusionChefGeoff · 26/12/2018 22:04

A teasmaid!

BillywilliamV · 26/12/2018 22:04

Cable ties, use them for so many things.

fullforce · 26/12/2018 22:06

The Philips clothes debobbler thingy, was around £10 on amazon and so amazing! Makes clothes brand new in no time I’m addicted to it. I even debobble the bed sheets😂

fufulina · 26/12/2018 22:06

Black silk eye mask. £4.99 from Amazon. Transformative.

Amazonian27 · 26/12/2018 22:07

A good vacumn water bottle helps with drinking more water as it keeps it nice & cool throughout the day or gym sesh.

Babyliss Big hair - gives my naturally curly hair a look like I have just visited the salon.

An alarm clock each for DC’s so they get up themselves for secondary.

Invest in some comfortable shoes for my sore feet so I can walk more.

Fitbit charge2 which helps motivate me to do more exercise.

Unescorted · 26/12/2018 22:11

Those clippy things for sealing bags.

TheFirstOHN · 26/12/2018 22:13

Electric heat pad which warms up the part of the bed where my feet are. I love it.

SophoclesTheFox · 26/12/2018 22:13

charging stand for iphone and apple watch- no more flailing down behind a table for stray cables.

FFSFFSFFS · 26/12/2018 22:14

Sodastream.

DarkDarkNight · 26/12/2018 22:15

Themagicamulet beat me to electric blanket. I haven’t got one now but am craving one. There is nothing nicer than getting in to a toasty bed.

Fluffiest · 26/12/2018 22:17

Silicone egg poachers.

Head and shoulders shampoo - used DH's when my more expensive shampoo ran out. Turns out it's amazing!
