Looking for some inspiration...

Is there something that is relatively inexpensive (£100 max) that has had an good impact on your quality of life?

I have vouchers that need used.

Memory foam insoles. £4.99 a pair and they give me boots a new lease of life

Eye mask. Truly transformed my sleep.

Happyinheels · 26/12/2018 22:58

My hair turban for when I've washed my hair - I have so much hair I just can't keep a normal towel wrapped on my head!

My delicious White Company 'Winter' scented candle - I just need this 🤷🏻‍♀️

A mattress topper and 400 thread count bedding - oh yes! Bed has never felt sooooo good!

PeridotCricket · 26/12/2018 23:01

A really warm winter coat.

thenightsky · 26/12/2018 23:01

One of those stick food whizzer things from Lidl for about £17. Soup making used to be a PITA when I had to ladle it into a food processor. Now the smoothing part is done in about 30 seconds and no bowls and inserts to wash up.

Femfresh wash. Not had any allergy reactions/fanny itch/thrush/etc for the first time in decades since using this instead of usual shower gel.

Instant Pot. So, so much better than my old slow cooker, throw the ingredients in and walk away, tasty meals cooked in no time and kept hot for as long as you need. Make yogurt and prove dough in it too. Also no cooking smells.

Heated throw for the sofa, indulgent but we are definitely using the heating less in the evenings.

Brushed cotton bed linen, much warmer than plain cotton.

@Ali1cedowntherabbithole
My husband is a coffee fiend and the Breville product sounds great. I can’t find anything on google though like that. Please can I ask what exactly it is called so I can try and source it? Thank you!

Decent kitchen knife.
Slow cooker.
Water bottle with filter.
Bracelet buddy.

Parisbun · 26/12/2018 23:10

My airfryer is one thing I would instantly replace if it breaks. I have an original one but I have seen many copies most of which would be acceptable I think as they seem to run on the same lines. The copies are much cheaper.
A dual switched electric blanket is such a luxury on a cold miserable night. The bliss of a hot shower, clean nightclothes and straight into a lovely warm bed. Nothing to beat it.
A cheap tablet exclusively for a room you dont have one in. I have one in the kitchen as well as my laptop.I use it for watching TV mainly so I dont have to wait for a programme to be over before starting to cook for example. Mind you my kitchen is pretty far from the living room ( no we dont live in a stately home, its just the room arrangement) so I used to have to psych myself up to leave the warm living room if I was watching something.

divafever99 · 26/12/2018 23:14

A bodium travel mug, unlike others it has a lid with a hole you can cover up so it doesn't spill when carried and drinks stay warm for ages.

Serin · 26/12/2018 23:18

Our dog! £80 From a rescue centre.
Best money we have ever spent.
Also have a lovely cat but she was free as she just came to live here of her own accord and she's not chipped. No one claimed her.
Other than that I love my spatula and pastry brush as I managed for years without and a second frying pan so I can make more than one omelette at a time Smile

yikesanotherbooboo · 26/12/2018 23:19

Non stick frying pan.
I would have added sharp kitchen knife but I have lost mine

SmartyPants0 · 26/12/2018 23:23

I'm also going to say my electric blanket with duel controls, I am going to have to conside an electric over blanket for the sofa now ☺

sadeyedladyofthelowlandsea · 26/12/2018 23:24

Oooh, ooh, and also my yaktrax - I do a lot of walking, and icy pavements really scare me. They're just metal springs you fit on the bottom of your shoes, but it's meant I can still do the school run without worrying about falling (again).

BitOfFun · 26/12/2018 23:34

A decent waterproof cover for my kindle and other devices, so I can read (or use my phone) in the bath. Bliss!

macmacaroon · 26/12/2018 23:43

Amazing ideas.

Queenofthedrivensnow · 26/12/2018 23:43

Where are the vouchers for OP? If nothing is standing out in your head then wait. I would not see some of the above as necessities or life changers for an easier life in particular electric blankets and air fryers or slow cookers. Though @Serin had a very beautiful personal response.

SushiMonster · 26/12/2018 23:55

+1 for good knives

The Marie Kondo book

Dothehappydance · 27/12/2018 00:01

I need an electric sofa blanket in my life too.

My Lakeland washing basket on legs is fantastic. Over the limit but my Shark is my great love.
