Looking for some inspiration...

Is there something that is relatively inexpensive (£100 max) that has had an good impact on your quality of life?

I have vouchers that need used.

@sukieinthegraveyard. What steam mop do you have?

beanaseireann · 04/01/2019 10:06

Lidl and Aldi sometimes do heated throws in their aisles of wonder

AlanThePig · 04/01/2019 10:26

My heated throw was from lidl I think. It was about £30 from memory.
Argos have a lovely one but it's a bit more expensive.

My local Lidl had heated throws only yesterday!

TheTeaFairy · 04/01/2019 10:50

Thank you @Torsz and @certainlymerry for the heated throw info Smile

Sooverthemill · 04/01/2019 10:55

A spray mop from Lakeland that cost about £20. It means I can use it in seconds after my dogs have muddled the floor rather than lift mop and bucket. Sad but true it's the best £20 I ever spent. Expensive stuff that revolutionised my life is my robot vacuum cleaner. I now realise how sad I am.

you an get the Origins £16 spot remover from Look Fantastic with 15% off code LF15

certainlymerry · 04/01/2019 15:25

I would also agree about the Origins spot remover. Mine was bought years ago, but I find it amazingly effective. I love all their products.

PuppyMonkey · 04/01/2019 15:30

Aldi online wine website, with free delivery. Game changer.

whatwouldnigellado · 04/01/2019 17:38

Thank so to this thread, I've started the process of getting a slimline dishwasher installed. Never realised could fit one in my kitchen, immensely excited!

EatCrisps · 04/01/2019 18:25

Can Origins spit remover be used on sensitive skin?

EatCrisps · 04/01/2019 18:26

^ Eeeeek that should be spot remover Blush

Hullabalooo · 04/01/2019 18:44

@thenightsky where are you based? I want a heat throw from Lidl!

Hullabalooo · 04/01/2019 18:46

@internetrandomer that's a great tip! Just checked and they're out of stock but really want some.

thenightsky · 04/01/2019 19:12

Hullabalooo I saw the heated throws yesterday in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire.

Padded ear protectors to help me sleep when there is noise! (£16!)

recklessgran · 05/01/2019 19:45

Marvel mats from Dunelm. I wish I'd known years ago that they stop the muddy paw prints from the animals coming in from the gardens! Non slip, absorbent and machine washable. No more mopping several times a day - the single best household buy ever.

FFSFFSFFS · 05/01/2019 19:56

So far I have purchased - uniqlo thermals, a pumice to use on my feet in the shower and now about to order Marvel mats.

Am pondering the one cup cup of tea thingumy.

(I got myself a heated throw years ago)

My add is lipstick case with mirror. I bought about a million of them when I went to Hong Kong ten years ago for about two pence and I am just on my very last. Use them all the time as it means I can toss my lips into backpack, can easily find in handbag and then can quickly reapply with the mirror. LOVE THEM!!

I've found some now that can be ordered online:
