I think ours has been off since the beginning of May and we are trying to hold off turning it back on as long as we can but it's getting pretty chilly now so I don't think it'll be much longer!

Yes! It's on now! It's chilly here!

delilahbucket · 23/09/2018 19:50

Ours has been on a few times over the last few weeks. I'm not concerned, our gas/electricity costs are very low for the size of the house.

theboxofdelights · 23/09/2018 19:51

I have programmed the control but haven't felt the need to turn it on so that it comes on morning and evening yet. I have pressed the '1 hour' button a dozen times over the last month though.

My windows are all closed today for the first time this year.

Flapjackninja · 23/09/2018 19:51

Mines on so I can dry the washing! Thinking of investing in a heater airer/dryer thing, no space for a proper dryer Hmm

Iruka · 23/09/2018 19:52

No, but I got the heated throw out for a bit earlier. It’s still swinging between hot and cold here

SinglePringle · 23/09/2018 19:52

No, still humid here. I’ve been in shorts and a t-shirt all day (with socks though) & had the windows open. South East.

ileclerc · 23/09/2018 19:53

Absolutely on. I have no reason to be cold in my own house!

EdisonLightBulb · 23/09/2018 19:54

I put our son on today for a couple of hours

Wallywobbles · 23/09/2018 19:55

Im still in a T-shirt so we are weeks away. Or possibly months. I did wear a jumper for my evening walk for the first time.

southnownorth · 23/09/2018 19:56

I never switched mine off. If it goes below the temp on the thermostat it comes on no matter what time of year.

WreckTangled · 23/09/2018 19:57

Lonicera we recently had new storage heaters put in and they actually have a timer and thermostat so nowhere near as bad as they used to be, thankfully. Still very expensive though. They'll never be as good as proper has centra heating plus they look shit Hmm

3boysandabump · 23/09/2018 20:05

Put mine on for the first time this morning probably wouldn't have bothered for a bit longer but we have a new baby and he was getting a bit cold

MrsChollySawcutt · 23/09/2018 20:07

No not yet, but I have lit the wood burner in the lounge this evening to take the chill off!

stoplickingthetelly · 23/09/2018 20:07

Yes quite a few times, we've also lit the fire too. We've had some really chilly days. Not been on today though.

faeriequeen · 23/09/2018 20:14

No, not until it gets colder.

newmobile · 23/09/2018 20:30

Yes it's on. Been on since Friday just got to convince the people are work it's time to put the office heating on! That will be a challenge

kaytee87 · 23/09/2018 20:34

Yes! 13 degrees without the heating on, chilly.

princesstiasmum · 23/09/2018 20:47

Yes,its cold up north, not every day it does vary a bit, and when the sun is out my living room gets very warm, but its been chilly at might

CakeNinja · 23/09/2018 20:52

We don’t switch ours off either. It will come on when it’s cold enough. We sleep with windows open slightly because I want fresh air but the last couple of mornings it has clicked on.

almondsareforevermore · 23/09/2018 20:55

Another one too poor to be warm. Today I’ve got my thermals on and sitting under a blanket.

Blankiefan · 23/09/2018 20:55

Yes. It's been on several times now. We're in Scotland if that justifies it?!!

motortroll · 23/09/2018 20:56

Mines been on for an hour today as the windows have all still been cracked open from last week which wasn't that cold hit when I got in today it was freezing!!

I won't put it ON on yet though!

MrsAmaretto · 23/09/2018 21:02

Ours is on all year, controlled by thermostat. It was 4 degrees last night so it’s definitely put itself on!

PhannyMcNee · 23/09/2018 21:03

I never turn ours off Blush thermostat is set at 18C so it only comes in if the house drops below that.

I've noticed warm radiators a couple of mornings but not yet in the evenings.

woodhill · 23/09/2018 21:03

No still off but does feel cold
