When ds was a tiny baby, I was struggling to breastfeed, and general not coping with life with a baby. So many kind words and posters.

Or when I accidentally washed all his leg cards and lovely MNetters posted us some.

The classics are funny, I remember the pouffe one. But it's the little acts of kindness I remember.

I had lurked for ages when early pregnant but it was Riven’s thread which made me join. I just thought it was an incredible show of strength and unity.

Old Korean lady and "fish slice and lube"

I’m more of a —lurker— reader than a poster but what inspired me to start posting was th Elderly Korean Lady thread 4(?) years ago.

I had to leave my bed because I snorted with laughter late one night when a very intense Perfumista thread about “sillage” (lingering scent you leave behind) got interpreted as “silage” (smelly animal fodder)!

The TONGA thread was funny as it unfolded.

And the one about the neighbours’ adult DC living in a parked car on the road outside.

Oh the pushchair one was amazing. Short but sweet

And the thread where someone's phone was playing up and posting the same comment multiple times, another poster asked "are you OK xxx? Answer once for yes, ten times for no". Doesn't sound that funny but at the time it had me howling.

Cutted up pear is one I always remember and the super soaker one. There was one where a poster called chaos seemed to lose control of her keyboard and I just found it absolutely hilarious.

I loved the thread from a widow about how to be both mum and dad to her boy. Such a warm and friendly thread, not seen it's like in ages. It even had Snorbs and Pan and a Toolfix catalogue.
