The mystery of who was using the OP's washing machine at night. Never did find out.

The best threads for me are the ones where the OP finds a.hidden cellar and we all get her to go down to find out what's in there. Or a strange thing on the wall and we all give her the courage to poke it and find out.

I've found memories of Sharon, the wasp, the wine and the wall. I think that was the same poster as t-rexing in the supermarket.
More recently I got caught up in reading about the artisan scotch eggs (aka fat balls) and the sex hedge thread.

For funny my favourite was Sexual technics, it’s the sort of thread that would be deleted by post 3 nowadays.

When the op came home and has a big hole in her wall where a neighbour was stealing part of her garden. I may have misremembered some of that and I don't actually know how it turned out. Does anyone else??
