Trialsmum · 22/09/2018 23:07

Oh god yes TRex 😂😂😂 (was she the same person as The Sharon poster??)

afishnotabird · 22/09/2018 23:07

Bawling my eyes out at Emin's thread, finding my Rusty Gusset sisters and FloweryTwat finding someone's dream wedding dress in Austria

Allycumpooster · 22/09/2018 23:10

I think she was the Sharon one. If not they were both completely bonkers Grin

TheFaerieQueene · 22/09/2018 23:13

Lemon drizzle cake was good.

Your minge was brilliant.

Mexican holiday home was 😱

Trialsmum · 22/09/2018 23:14

@Allycumpooster yes she/ they were 😂😂😂 every so often a poster comes on with a similar posting style and I so hope it’s her... but no such luck ☹️

Florries · 22/09/2018 23:15

The mystery of who was using the OP's washing machine at night. Never did find out.

The best threads for me are the ones where the OP finds a.hidden cellar and we all get her to go down to find out what's in there. Or a strange thing on the wall and we all give her the courage to poke it and find out.

Coats protection league. Do hope she is ok and still in a good place.

MarklahMarklah · 22/09/2018 23:15

I've found memories of Sharon, the wasp, the wine and the wall. I think that was the same poster as t-rexing in the supermarket.
More recently I got caught up in reading about the artisan scotch eggs (aka fat balls) and the sex hedge thread.

PierreBezukov · 22/09/2018 23:16

I'm Angela Fernandez is another classic phrase that sticks in my head.

Cellardoor23 · 22/09/2018 23:16

The fly space one - the gift that kept on giving.

Cellardoor23 · 22/09/2018 23:18

T-Rex had me in tears.

HoobleDooble · 22/09/2018 23:25

Lemon drizzle bitch. The haunted office. Penguin bollards on the Isle of Wight. The thread where the OP was having a party and her CF friend planned to drop her kids off at the house for the night so she could bonk her new bf. Do you rinse mince?

TobysToblerone · 22/09/2018 23:29

It’s got to be the pushchair one. It was a few years ago that I first saw it and it can still make me laugh...

The original MN Secret Santa threads, so much love, so much genuine disbelief from recipients, so humbling.. nothing can beat them for me.

AlexaAmbidextra · 22/09/2018 23:37

The thread that I shall never forget was EMIN and her drug addicted foster baby. I wept buckets over that thread. What an amazing special woman and what a tragic ending.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 22/09/2018 23:41

Pink Peter
EMIN's thread
Mexican house Thief
San Moritz pound shop brands
Private Troll Topic
Crap tips.

Just off the top of my head.

TeddyIsaHe · 22/09/2018 23:41

Mustard scream. I still to this day randomly remember it in the street and do ugly laughing.

nancy75 · 22/09/2018 23:42

The Emin thread is one of the only things on here that ever made me cry, such an amazing woman

For funny my favourite was Sexual technics, it’s the sort of thread that would be deleted by post 3 nowadays.

Oddcat · 22/09/2018 23:49

I remember someone who couldn't do clicky links , loads and loads of people explaining how to do it but they just couldn't get it right .

nancy75 · 22/09/2018 23:50

Okki · 23/09/2018 00:05

Auntie something was the OP's name and she was looking after a little girl for a weekend who was a right little adorable monkey - gave OP a few scares.

SequinsOnEverything · 23/09/2018 00:12

When the op came home and has a big hole in her wall where a neighbour was stealing part of her garden. I may have misremembered some of that and I don't actually know how it turned out. Does anyone else??

Oddcat · 23/09/2018 00:35

Thanks for the link DearPrudence so funny Grin
