Got a new pair of shoes today for the new season and as soon as I tried them on, DH and I both said 'Ooh, new shooooes!' While the DC looked as us like we'd lost the plot as usual. They are, of course, much too young to remember the Clarks advert but it is ingrained in our memories. Which led me to think about some of the best, most memorable TV ads. Which are the ones you still remember and quote?

Livedandlearned2 · 13/09/2018 20:17

I loved the toilet roll one, not Andrex, it was a song about the toilet rolls, sung to the tune of 'English Country Garden'.

That's all I remember, I loved it so much, I wrote it down and gave it to my sister Blush

iklboo · 13/09/2018 20:18

Also ‘Shake ‘n’ Vac. Even after all these years that tune is still in my head.

We used to sing 'Do the Shake n Vac and bring your breakfast back' Grin

Aw loved finger of fudge song too @LuvMyBoyz! Also the Trio biscuit one and If you like a lot of chocolate on your biscuit join our Club. (I think there's a bit of a chocolate theme.)

It's amazing how a good jingle will stick in your head years later. Or a good slogan.
