He was brilliant on capital radio - also Chris Tarant ... bloody brilliant radio listening!

Don't think for a minute Graham Norton would do it, although I wish he would.

I think time for Moira to go, she is making more slip ups all the time, so surely best to retire?

Why do so many people like Sara Cox? I can't stand the woman. I hate her accent, it really grates. She witters on about nothing. The music she plays is awful, and I don't consider that somebody is winning at life because they got up at 4.30am

It will be a female, no doubt about it, because the justification for Jo Whiley was that there aren't any women on prime time radio (does it really matter?). Actually I like Lynn Bowles and Sally Traffic, so perhaps we could have them as a joint feature?

I would love Richard Bacon although I would be pleased if Simon Mayo got it as I feel sorry for him since he's been lumped together with the awful Jo Wiley.

I quite like Chris Evans but he's a bit OTT a lot of the time which is annoying. He's started on about "Now we're in the run up to Christmas" . It's only September for Pete's sake!!
I like Sara Cox when she stands in for him. She has a great sense of humour.

I liked Jo Whitley’s evening show. I haven’t had a chance to fully listen tomthe Drivetime show.

I cant stand Sara Cox! She talks utter nonsense.

I think it should not be some awful fake double act that is so much part of breakfast radio on other channels.

I'd expect Sara Cox.

If they put Liza Tarbuck on Breakfast with Bore Wiley at Drivetime I will burn Wogan House down.

Simon Mayo would be my vote but Sara Cox also quite acceptable

Thank goodness for radio 6. Please no to Sara,Zoe and Jo. Mel on her own would be great or Craig Charles.

I've only just remembered Richard Allinson thanks to this thread- he was great and definitely a contender, if not for breakfast then drivetime with Simon Mayo on breakfast.
Sara Cox used to be good on her evening show but I struggle with her in the morning. Zoe Ball annoys the tits off me but I'm prepared to accept that might just be me.
I've recently developed a searing loathing of Vanessa Feltz with her "grandbabies", stupid half arsed features and the pretentious "this is me" sample at the end of the show, if nothing else she's helped my new early to bed, early to rise regime no end. FWIW think she's genuinely good when she fills in for JV though.
Given my way it would be radio4 all the way but DH is winning this particular battle of Radio Wars at the moment

I'm pretty pissed off that Chris Evans is taking over from Sam and Amy on Virgin! Their show was entertaining and not at all irritating like Chris Evans.
